A quaint old-time village atmosphere close to the Village Gondola and a few shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking with attached bar. Only downsides were a very small jacuzzi/hot tub and lack of full service restaurant (thre Cellar bar serves food, and the former restaurant, now closed, was WAY overpriced, so...).

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Ok, but close to the Village
Stay was ok. The dude that checked us in was by far the rudest clerk i have ever encountered. The property is quite old, and the walls are very thin, so be prepared to wake up early with everyone around you. The property is old, but clean. The best part about it is proximity to the village.
Room was tidied everyday with garbage removal and new towels. Front desk was helpful and courteous. Parking was easy. Very convenient to village shops, restaurants and Canyon Gondola. Can get a bit noisy from restaurant downstairs, but really did not disrupt stay at all.
Would stay again.
The rooms have been updated since our last stay and our room on the first floor was lovely and quiet. Improvements I would like to see are in the shower: better water pressure and a removable shower head.
Instructions on how to use the coffee maker would be a nice plus.
Love the location right across from the village and gondola. Quaint older lodge hotel. The cost was reasonable especially for the location. Our mattress was very hard and there were no tops for disposable coffee cups to go. Overall I would probably stay here again based on cost and location.
The front desk team was amazing!!! I had to stay one night at a different hotel who would not allow me store my luggage prior to checkin and Alphenhoff stored it for me even the night I didn’t stay there and then brought my ski bag to my room for me when I checked in there. The staff is incredible (and the location is excellent).
