Clean room, perfect for me and my two dogs, quiet location, near dog walking/potty area. Great to have non smoking room with microwave and refrigerator, free WiFi, TV that works/easy to operate.

The area was very nice. The room appeared to have been updated but the hotel itself is old. The room was very small and the bathroom very confined. The air conditioner did not work well at all. Ran out of hot water momentarily during shower…If you can afford it, go with a different hotel.

If price is your concern then this is a affordable motel but if you want comfort and style this place is not for you. Mattresses are not comfortable and the rooms are worn and dated. The property owner filled the pool in with gravel. Over all a convent location to the town’s amenities. Would not stay here again though just due to personally being used to somewhat nicer accommodations.

Basic basic basic

If all you want to do is sleep and shower, then this motel will be fine. For $160, we didnt have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, nor iron. We paid less than $160 at a very nice hotel in the heart of Lake Tahoe and it had all of the above items. Not sure why Motel 6 has gotten so greedy. I will not stay at this motel again.

Our room 112 had a heater that wasn’t working and it’s 40* at night here so we asked for another room and got one that has a working heater. Glad because the 2nd night had a storm with thunder and the rain nearly froze over on the cars windshield. Snow was a top the high peaks as a result. For some reason there was no hot water at the sink, but at least we had a hot shower. The beds were quite squeaky and I had some trouble getting a good nights rest waking up every few hours. There is only one ice machine and it’s in the lobby so you’ll have to walk from where ever your room is, it’s a big place too so it may require getting a little rain on you if it’s pouring out. We stayed two nights and none of our used towels were changed out, guess they don’t do that here. The motel is just a one way in one way out, and it’s entrance isn’t next to its office as you’d expect it, don’t try to pull off the road just because you see their big sign, wait a little and drive to the end of the building and pull into the property where there is a super small sign there instead. Other than this the place was the cheapest in all of Mammoth Lakes(no free breakfast), provided a roof over our heads and a bed to sleep. Centrally situated in town so it was close to everything.

We had to leave the hotel after staying for only 5 hours. No microwave,no ref,no coffee maker,no shampoo. AC not cooling. No good restaurant around the area. Worst hotel ever.
