Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. The bathroom is small compared to the rest of the room. The room was clean. It was too warm and we tried turning down the heat. Fortunately, there was a fan in the room and we moved it closer to the bed. There was a second fan but it didn't work. Also, the TV was small. I guess we're spoiled. We also wished breakfast was served earlier (like 6 am) Oh, the coffee in the room was nasty!

The room smelled of mold, the floor was not clean, and the room in general seemed under-maintained. It was close to the Red line, and the breakfast was a plus.

The property is conveniently located, with a bus stop in front of the building providing access to the village gondola, as well as a Red Line bus stop across the street. The lobby lighting is dim, and there is limited visible activity in the common areas. The front desk is often unattended, and staff interactions were minimal. Cleanliness was below standard, including a stained bed observed when the cover was removed and a dirty room floor. Towels appeared worn and aged, reflecting the property’s level of upkeep. Overall, the property provides a convenient option for short stays, particularly for snowboard or ski trips, with basic accommodations.

We had a delayed check-in as we arrived after midnight and the system had considered us a "no-show". The night manager found a solution to get us in our room but didn't actually check us in which caused some confusion the next day. Our key card didn't work coming back from the slopes and the day manager had to reprocess everything... Not a big deal, just fyi to look into late arrivals. The staff was very nice, room was clean, breakfast was filling and spa very enjoyable after a day out in the cold.
