I've stayed at Shiloh a few times. I love their pet policy which is easy but the rooms are falling into disrepair. The TV is blurry, our air conditioner didn't work in the first room, and the construction on the place should warrant a much steeper discount in the off season
It’s really a nice place to stay . Lot of stuff around the hotel

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The location was good. The hotel room was as clean as it could be considering it looked like it hadn’t been remodeled since the 90s. But the hotel is also under construction so I’m hoping they’ll be redoing the rooms in which you can disregard this comment

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The property is under renovation right now, but maybe a decade or two later than it should have been. It’s in remarkably rough shape.
The hotel seemed much older. The fire alarm was pulled…prank in the night and there was. I acknowledgement of it by the staff. The hotel is currently under construction and the room smelled not so good.
The property has begun a year long total remodel. This property is at least 40+ years old and really needs the remodel. Unfortunately this was not mentioned anywhere!
It's not the employees fault! We checked in and were amazed at how dated the unit was. We even got to use a KEY to open the many times repaired door with many screws directly into the door and blocks of wood and glue to try to hold it together. I am 75 years old and I don't remember many of the furnishings and "decorations". Again the employees were very nice. I hold the management accountable for $200/night. To not advise perspective renters and then have the nerve to charge $200 is like lying!
I have no doubt that in a year or so it will be much nicer but you really need to shut down and get this done. You cannot remodel a little bit here and a little bit there and still expect to have guests staying here. Management will ruin this hotels reputation to the point it will have problems in the future. People talk but do not forget how this "remodel" is being handled.
Great location.unfortunately jacuzzi & pool are not available due to remodeling.the one thing that is not available to the guests in room is that they don’t have any kind of usb plugs of some sort so guests can charge up their phones, etc.having this would easily make it more enjoyable for guests.
The property is old and under construction, which it desperately needs. That being said, it is not indicated in the listing while booking the property. The rooms are large but the air conditioning does not work, which makes the room hot and stuffy at night.
I can’t give no stars unfortunately. It was a horrible experience. The first room had a hole in the wall. Room 217. The second room they gave me had a do not disturb in the door. When I went back he said he forgot he gave the room to someone else. The 3rd room had unfinished construction in window. The whole place smelled like cigarettes. My 9 year old was physically stressed and crying because the walls, door, couches and floors in lobby and hallways were heavily stained, scratched and marked up. It is not what I expected for even a facility rated a 7. I will definitely be posting my experience to Expedia and all other social media " buyer beware!!" I wish I took photos but I was focused on making my little one calm and try and get a good room. I left knowing I would not get my money back because I already checked in. I did but travel protection but I don’t know if this will be covered. We ended up getting a room around the corner at Outbound Manor. Much better.
This place was $200/night which is not cheap. No mention of broken hot tub nor any discount. The room table was broken, tilted. The room carpet was dirty. The room curtains were broken. Cheap constructions - I could hear so much noise from the room upstairs. Steps, talking, opening/closing drawers, showering. Couldn't sleep until the people upstairs decided to sleep bc of the noise. Notified the staff but they didn't resolve. I could touch the hallway ceiling with my hand just standing. This is how low the hallway ceiling is which contributes to poor noise isolation. The AC/Heater unit was making out of ordinary noises. The only good thing was that they had a breakfast and available coffee and teas. I would never choose to stay in this hotel. Is terrible.
We have stayed here many times, but started to look like it needs updating which they seem to be starting. Breakfast isn’t as good as it used to be. Items were empty and not replenished.
