we were stuck in Mammoth with car trouble and needed a place to stay - Shiloh Inn is charging rates as if their not-yet-started renovation had already been completed. There were holes in the curtains, and everything was shabby! The first room had a toilet backed up, the second one we got - because of the toilet issue in the first one - had no functioning heater so we had to get a plug in one. To their credit, they gave us a ***little*** money back, but we were still over charged for the quality of the room.
The hotel had great breakfast. Convenient parking was pet friendly. It could use a little TLC in certain parts of rooms . Be eds clean and comfortable. Very convenient location.
Well-maintained, clean, with large rooms and great views. Very cozy. I really enjoyed my weekend here. Reasonably priced too! Next time I'll have to take advantage of the hot breakfast.
In room kitchenette, friendly staff, a lot of breakfast choices, spacious rooms. Keep in mind that the hotel is being renovated so parts of it are very old. The breakfast is good but not super flavorful but it's a hotel buffet. I was very happy with it. If you want a fancy room and a fancy breakfast, stay at a fancy hotel.

The staff do their best. However, the facilities are literally falling apart. Elevator buttons don't work. We saw a door siding lying on floor 4. Tv remote barely worked. Curtains were so thin and frayed . Really has been let go. Needs a ton of work.

Been going to Shiloh for years. It’s one of the last affordable, convenient, clean, large hotel rooms in Mammoth. Many upgrades are coming to the facility, which are needed. but unfortunately will impact the affordable cost in time.
Shilo Mammoth still has big and comfortable rooms. But everything else is in tatters. They apparently started a remodel over the Summer, but the contractor just left the project half-completed when it started to snow. Surprise! The pool is off limits. The steam room is freezing. The sauna is hot, but your feet freeze on the tiles inside and out, The elevators stopped working for about 24 hours. Piles of building materials are everywhere. The rates should reflect the product, which is less than you have a right to expect.

Great experience checking in. Room was clean. All good.
It’s nice to have indoor parking, especially during a blizzard. The rooms were clean. The bed was a little lumpy. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.
