Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Stopped halfway on a trip down East side of Sierras. Breathtaking region (at 8000 ft altitude and beautiful scenery). Our room was cozy and clean. Service response was quick after I noticed someone had disconnected the fridge and the freezer was full of meltwater. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wife and I stayed here for a couple days to go check out the fall colors and hike with our puppy. Staff was friendly and the room was just as advertised. Very dog friendly hotel with small dog park and walking paths with waste bags & bins. Great location near all the restaurants, grocery store, and ski shops. I would stay here again.

We stayed in an upper unit apartment near the blue crepe food truck. It had two bedrooms, a large bathroom and was away from the construction zone, so it was a great option for two people with dogs. The apartment was well equipped though not over the top with a lovely balcony and view of the mountains. We never had any trouble with noise And it was very clean. There was no table to eat at or work at so if that’s an issue, that is something to consider. The heated pool and the hot tub were lovely even in 60° temperatures. The Outbound is walking distance to many Restaurants and bars, and shops. I’d highly recommend staying here. It is dog friendly, and has seating areas outside with fire pits. There is also a bar and restaurant on site with satisfactory food and friendly staff.
