It’s Nicaragua so you have to keep that in mind. There’s no hot water in the showers, there’s no ice available. The hall smells like cigarette smoke. But the restaurant is decent. Nice free full breakfast. The staff is attentive. The bands are good. And the bathroom is spacious. It’s close to the US embassy so it’s a better area with a high end grocery store. No English speakers on staff here.

The staff was fantastic but this property is very dated but clean. Location is horrible and unsafe at night. We stayed there as we had an appointment at the US Embassy. DO NOT USE THEIR TAXI SERVICE. HE CHARGES TRIPLE THE PRICE.Overall weould not stay again.

We got there pretty late but the gentleman at the reception was very welcoming. We were a large party of 11. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The only issue we encountered was that 1 out of the 3 rooms we had the a/c didn’t work properly. Toast and oJ is what’s included for breakfast but for $5 extra per person you get a traditional breakfast and it was goooodddd!! Overall a good experience will def. stay there again.

Great Hotel near US Embassy

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa del Sol. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel was attractive, safe, very clean, well maintained and comfortable. It’s also located very close to the US Embassy, which was important to us. And had secure, off-street parking. As well as an on-site restaurant and a pool. Unfortunately, right now (September 2018) there is major road construction going on nearby which impacted our initial access. It was raining and dark when we were arriving so we didn’t see the hotel sign beyond the chain and Road Closed sign blocking the way. It turns out we just needed to ask the guard standing at the chain and Road Closed sign to let us pass. Also, note that you’ll do best to use a taxi (we used a motorcycle taxi) to get to the Embassy, if that’s your destination.

Lindo refugio en Managua

Un lindo refugio en Managua, que sigue placentero y acojedor hace muchos años. Apartamentos límpios, amplos, con mucho conforto. El personal es muy cordial y hacen todo para hacernos sentir en casa.
