Disappointed in the stay
We were disappointed with the stay; it made the short vacation uncomfortable. Upon first arriving we were given key cards to a room that had been occupied and was not clean yet; the front desk clerk said there was an error in the system sometimes and they are unable to see the rooms that are ready to be assigned to the people that are checking in and instead given the rooms that are already in use. The next room we were given had a broken sliding door and a pipe was left on the window sill. Aside from that, the cards stopped working several times and we were only on the property for a day and a half. The cards gave us lots of problems entering the hotel room and in the first full day the card did not allow us to enter the building through the side. We had to get replacement cards. The room itself was not very clean either.

We arrived and nobody was available to check us in. We waited at least 10 minutes for the one person working made it back to the desk to check in several of us who were waiting. We stayed two nights and our room was not cleaned during our stay. Had to go ask for clean towels and take our own trash out. Overall the room was clean and beds were decent but lack of service was the main takeaway.

I left right away!
So my husband reserved me a suite just for an overnight away from home to get some much needed rest without kids. The hotel itself is tucked away, so no real traffic noise. When you enter the lobby it appears well taken care of and clean. The customer service was good. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful when my key initially didn’t work. Then I got to my room. It was definitely nothing to write home about. At one time I’m sure it was a decent room. Now the rooms wallpaper is peeling, the furniture tattered, and the bathroom needs some TLC… cracked shower tile, some mold stained caulk, the ceiling paint is bubbling and has the starts of mold. Still I overlooked it because it was clean and I was exhausted. Then I went to take a hot shower before watching some tv in bed. The water was just warm, in no way was it getting slightly hot. So after a shower that left me shivering when I was done, I went to turn on the tv and lay down… and the tv would only turn on and immediately turn off. I tried about 5 or 6 times with zero luck. At this point I was ready to cry, but figured I just lay in bed and watch my iPad…. But the constant noise from the hall was drowning that out. I’d officially had enough of this crud show that should have been relaxing. I went ahead and packed my stuff up because I was ready to just go home…. At least I knew what I was getting by there. Old dingy place , like putting lipstick on a pig. The pool was closed ! They never informed prior to or after booking that the pool was closed. The rooms need to be updated and cleaned . They had limited staff members and housekeeping was not up to par.

Bathroom wall paint was chiped in a few places, empty hardware on the same wall should have been removed or new hardware hung,no lotion in the bathroom, carpet needs to be replaced and front desk clerk struggled. Overall the hotel was in poor condition. I would not recommend it.

Multiple doors not working to get in, the door to our room would not open. We had to lift the door to open it. When we left the door would not close because the lock was broken. Hotel is very dated. The hotel charged me for my stay even though I had already paid. Overall not a pleasant stay.

All of the employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The pool was closed which was disappointing and I do wish that someone would have communicated that to us earlier. Regardless, the room was clean and comfortable.

Front desk checked us in and gave us our room number and keys. Opened the door to the room and it wasn't cleaned. Still dirty from the previous guests. Back to the front desk and got another room. Quick and helpful hotel staff with the issue. Front desk said the were proving a credit to our room for their mistake. Still haven't seen this credit.
