Got what we paid for..

While the staff was extremely nice and accommodating, the hotel was in desperate need of an updating. Let me preface this with, we came in very late and were exhausted and therefore never called the front desk for them to correct the situation, that’s on us. The air conditioner was loud and did not smell good. The entire place could use a good spackle and paint job. It was very clean (albeit a little mold in the bathroom). Breakfast was minimal; coffee, juice, toast, eggos, cereal…. But Cracker Barrel is around the corner so it ended well. All in all, it was inexpensive so we didn’t really expect much.

I was surprised that there was carpeted flooring in the room. Most hotels where I have stayed have removed carpet for tile or laminate flooring which is so much more hygienic. The mattress had definitely seen better days. It looked like elephants had been sleeping on it. Not exaggerating! Oh, hot/cold water at the bathroom sink was coming out of the opposite sides. The pluses were a fridge and microwave in the room. The staff was very nice. For the price I shouldn't complain but updates are needed for sure.

Got a good sleep

The best part are the beds. Very comfortable mattress and pillows. The breakfast is pretty terrible. Nothing but frozen waffles and two choices of cereal. TV is just okay and there aren't any premium channels like HBO or Showtime and Cartoon Network is unavailable for some bizarre reason. The showerheads are also very nice and high pressured.
