Property was clean. Staff helpful. Crowd of people standing outside door smoking the first night. The next night approximately 10 young people in group in front of the hotel standing in a group.
Low ceilings, dim corridors. Room door deadbolt did not work 4 out of 5 times. When I told front desk she said all doors like that. Could not get anyone to repair for 2 days and appeared reluctant to change my room. Also, room door had slow automatic closing pneumatic feature, could not close quickly, a security issue in dark corridor where anyone could have entered room with me as I waited for door to close. Overall, did not feel safe and staff did not appear very concerned.
The room was clean and comfortable.. bathroom spotless.
Front desk was hit or miss depending on great to lacking in any personality.
Peggy in the dining room was the gem of our two night stay. What a doll!
