This Hotel was a great hotel a few years ago and we always enjoyed our time there.On this visit I was surprised to find a lot of the little extras such as Tissue’s, Shower gels,just the little extras that made it special.The Hotel just needs updating and it will be the perfect place to visit for its so central to the centre of town and the main Train Station.

Fab location and excellent value for money. Close to the station and centre of city. Hotel is dated but for the price and amount of time spent there, it wasn’t a problem The room temperature was volcanic (we stayed in Dec!) and the air con only kicked out warm air which made getting ready a sweaty challenge! Our sink was as cracked too but otherwise I would stay here again if in the city for a show or gig.

Hotel is great if you're attending a concert or something for a one night stay. I stayed in the cheapest room I could possibly get and it was fine, my only complaint was that the room was very hot and the air con didn't seem to have much effect. But in winter it's not much of a problem Would definitely stay again

Central, clean and affordable
Check-in staff were lovely despite unfortunately being subject to abuse from several other customers who hadn't read their small print and didn't seem to be aware that photo ID was required at check-in. Please take photo ID with you rather than turn into a screeching harpy at the desk, it's absolutely not necessary and your lack of reading properly is not the staff's fault. The hotel itself is very central, super handy for Piccadilly Gardens if using the tram during your stay and just as handy for arriving on the train at Piccadilly station. The hotel decor is probably a little dated but that doesn't bother me when I'm hoping to spend the majority of my time there sleeping. The hotel was clean, tidy and as a solo female traveller I felt safe throughout my stay. If the price is favourable the next time that I go to Manchester, I wouldn't hesitate to book there again.

I booked this hotel as my friends forward the Hotel.com to me, and I have no idea, and I just check the distance, this is most closed to central and not far from University as I attend. when we get off train and ask staff they said oh, no, do you still had chance to cancel and booking somewhere else? well my friend also just found this hotel view shown as the worst hotel. anyway, we checking, and everything is fine, just a bit not update, the location was really good. staffs are friendly, not bad stay in Manchester.

Considering we ordered an executive room, the room itself was very basic with no luxuries for the term executive. It was also very cold with the radiator unable to work. When we returned after our concert event, the first floor bar seemed to be a pick-up site for prostitutes, bringing their targets back before retreating to the bedrooms. Not a recommended hotel.

Great hotel, central and very clean
Reception ,at check in I asked for a high floor room which was given. Room was lovely, interior no window as per booking.we left a few items,washed and went out to dinner. On return couldn't get in room.stsff accompanied us - our room had been allocated to another guest! Our personal items were in the room as well as new guests! We were given a family room and complimentary drinks ,but I would prefer not to be in that situation. Dealt with professionally but should not happen
