Crown Plaza

Clean room with 2 double beds which were super comfy and I had a really good sleep. The smell of drains was apparent but not strong enough to complain. The bathroom was lovely but the shower was deceptively small. I felt clostrophobic whilst using that facility. Lovely soap and handcream provided as well as a complimentary bottle of water each which was very welcome particularly as it was in the fridge. The way to the room from the lift looked dingy and had a cool feeling with black walls and laminate flooring. Definitely not the best decor. The lobby was lovely with comfy seating and all the staff were smiley and helpful. Location was perfect for the transport systems and bars, no noise heard whatsoever. Breakfast was to die for....

Good location for shopping and the AO Arena. Excellent transport links with the tram stop being very close by. The staff were all very friendly and extremely efficient. Rooms were well appointed, and the beds very comfy. Cleanliness very good, however the corridors and certain aspects of the room did look tired and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was very good, however expect queues at busy times. Overall, I would stay here again, if the price was right.
