Not really worth the price

It was ok. However it was definitely not worth the price. I thought breakfast was included as that is what I filtered to on my search but it wasn’t included so I had to pay extra for that. Also when we got in the room the curtains were big but the window was sooo small in the corner. May aswell had not had a window at all. Food was ok, staff were friendly and helpful.

Location is a little bit out of the city centre but was great for us as we were visiting the co-op live. Not far from the tram station and there were local places to eat from as well as at the hotel. Drinks prices were a little steep but i suppose that’s city living. Room was great, plenty of space etc. Only issue we had was the signal on the tv didn’t let you watch much on freeview so had to find one that worked to fall to sleep to. Staff were absolutely fantastic and welcoming.

Positives: Quiet, clean, good sized room, easy check in, well located for a gig at the Co-Op Live Arena. Negatives: Room (on the 9th floor on a very hot week!) too hot. Maybe partly caused by a very hot towel rail in the bathroom which couldn't be switched off? Either way, the Air Con couldn't tackle it.

I picked this hotel as it was reasonably priced and it seemed close to the Co Op Arena as I was attending a concert there. The member of staff who checked me in was so lovely and she accommodated my request for a quiet room as I’m a light sleeper. She put me on the top floor in the corner and it was very quiet. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower is very spacious. The hotel is opposite a domino’s which was handy very handy. I got an Uber to and from the concert which was super cheap. The hotel is walking distance to the train station and tram. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. The only criticism I have is the carpets looked like they needed cleaning in my bedroom and the hall area. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
