I stayed during Pride. I was disappointed. Although there was nothing wrong, and nothing specific to complain about, I felt the property, service, food and experience were distinctly average. The place could do with a more thorough clean in places - my shower although not dirty had mould and mildew in places. Check in was easy but I found staff did the minimum. At the end of my stay, I was asked how it was and when I replied that everything was "ok," they laughed and said... "oh I'm sure we did better than okay?" It was very odd! The property is pretty new but showing signs of wear and tear and not being cared for. Some communal floors are pretty dirty. Breakfast was uninspiring. Basics done without flair - I couldn't find one thing that had much taste. I think because this is a bit more of a pricey option, I was expecting much more! I would recommend that staff put themselves in the guests shoes and really think about the experience / hospitality they give. I would not atay again or recommend.

My experience at Residence Inn Manchester.
I enjoyed my stay, the breakfast team was warm and courteous, special to note are the two young girls Nikki and her sister, always smiling. Front desk team were superb too, thumbs up for Hardis & Divya most specially. I would highly recommend the hotel for long stay & groups for their apartment facilities. I will come again. Doubt we'll ever be back!
The room had nothing in it as far as microwave, fridge etc. Just a kettle! But even an ice bucket. It's Residence Inn, and all the photos show kitchens, but the room was so small there wasn't barely room for us in it! And where the room was located every time someone opened one of the hallways doors it made a horrible noise that made you jump EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Room was good and hotel staff were all friendly. We stayed in room 210 and the bed frame needs to be looked at, every time we moved in bed it made an awful creaking sound. The breakfast could do with some improvement, some more kid friendly options and just a greater variety and increase in quality. None of the food was also labeled with any allergy information.

I stayed her for 3 nights with my wife and 2 year old daughter. We booked the 1 bedroom suite which was perfect for us and so spacious. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were so helpful, polite and professional. The breakfast was good with a lot options, the suite was clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Was a nice place to stay apart from the building work around the area. We did try to arrange a package for our anniversary but the staff weren’t very helpful, in the end we just didn’t bother. Brekafast was complimentary but wasn’t a big range of items. Otherwise wasn’t too bad.

Avoid !! Awful Stay, Dirty and building site
from the photos I was looking forward to staying at what looked like a modern clean hotel. It was so Dirty and run down Given room on first floor that was not what was advertised on what I booked on hotels.com reception then moved me to what they described as a lovely room with balcony that opens up. The room was like a hot glass box. The hotel is surrounded by building sites and covered in thick dust. The area did not feel safe. Aggressive begging Breakfast was hiddious. Cheap products, orange juice was watered down squash. Cooked food was undercooked and cold. Stale bread. And donning area was dirty no attention to detail. Did not good sleep too much noise This should not be a Marriott hotel

Overall a nice hotel
Family members staying in 3 rooms for Manchester Uni graduation. The first 2 days I was in a suite with my daughter so she had the bedroom and I took the sofa bed in the living room. We found there was no bedding for this sofa bed and had to call to get this resolved. They stated they were fully booked and no more bedding was available??? Of course, this was not an option. A gentleman showed up with a single sheet, as though that would solve the problem We then again said we needed a duvet and pillowcases which eventually were dropped off and we made up the bed. The room is very tight with the sofa bed out and table and chairs needed to be moved to a corner. I was dubious about the comfort of this sofa bed, but surprisingly, it was ok. I had a cup of coffee in the room before going down for breakfast and the coffee was never replaced with the cleaning, so only 2 were used and it was gone. We did hang a do not need to make up the room sign on the door the first day, but we came back to sign gone and room made up. My daughter's husband came to join us, so I then moved into my own room with a big luxurious bed. I hung out the sign that the room did not need service, but again, they came in and even snatched the towel I had hung up for another use. Seems like they don't try to follow my lead on conserving energy. The breakfast buffet was very good. The location of this hotel was perfect for us to walk the canals and to the train station. Elevators painfully slow!
