Cold night in a very noisy location
It was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Whilst the staff was friendly, the hotel itself was not up to the £105 a night that we paid and it is situated in an area where your safety is questionable. The room itself was very cold with the radiator not working and only a small oil heater, which did nothing to warm the room. Old furniture, including wood planks, nailed to the top of the bed base, matched with a very thin mattress it was almost unbareable to lay on. Other furniture seemed very dated with what appeared to be a plastic bottle propping up the front of the wardrobe. There was a horid smell throughout the room every time the toilet was flushed, but all this was dwarfed by the abundance of noise the entire night. The sound of constant traffic and paper thin walls kept both myself and my partner awake throughout the night. Spending the entire night very cold and wide awake from the noise, i could not recomend this hotel nor would i ever stay here again.

This hotel is ok for a stay of a few days stay. Entrance looks a bit dodgy but inside is quite ok. We were moved twice for different reasons but the hotel manager was really great about it. For the price that you pay for this hotel, it isn’t that bad. The beds were comfortable but the lack of hot water from the bathroom tap was an issue. There was however hot water from the shower. No hangers and no hair dryer so bring your own. Overall a good hotel.

Clean room and pleasant staff. Tea and coffee making facilities. Pretty close to the AO arena and short bus ride to the centre of Manchester.

Room larger than expected. Reasonably quiet. Own bathroom a bonus given the price. Walkable to centre. Lots of free street parking. Could have done with more pillows and room too warm but apart from that, excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again.

The first night l struggled to sleep as l was kept up until early hours but to the receptionists credit after him realising this the noise level wasn’t a problem after that. I was only there 5 nights but the room was cleaned and adequate and the bed was comfortable.

Really good place to stay not too expensive either just the area it’s in is a bit dodgy which was a worry and a lot of sirens going off all night along the street but the place was clean and the staff was nice enough to let us use their printer

Excellent budget-friendly stay. Actually best yet
Room was clean and tidy. Had a private toilet and shower in-room. Condition of both was excellent. Had radiators in both the room and toilet. Staff was cooperative and special thanks to Mohammad for doing his best to accommodate my requests. One thing they can do to elevate the level of hospitality is to offer a simple microwave for guests to use.

I recently booked a double room at parkview residence. 1st of there is no parking spaces on the street. Whilst booking in i notice a couple of down and outs come and go, then i was asked for my licence, which they then photocopied and uploaded to their system. I was very unnerved by this with how rife identity theft is. The room smelt badly and there was no opening window, the heating was on in both the room and en suite which was absolutely stifling. You can turn the heating off but would of taken a long time to cool, as it was only a small room. I decided to leave after 10 mins as i could not bear the smell any longer. You do not get a refund but i did appreciate the receptionist agreeing to delete my licence. This is a very basic hotel with no real amenities, which is probably why it cost only £35. Lesson learnt for next time I'll research better.

Parkview’s rooms are of a good standard and access to them is good. The hotel is on a bus route from Manchester to Oldham, providing additional convenience. The staff were very friendly and obliging.

Staff were all lovely, patient, welcoming and helpful, so certain I liked the staff. However, I am used to certain facilities in hotels. Although the rooms did not look dirty, I think the carpets on the hotel stairs, may need a very deep clean, just like the rooms. The bed was comfortable and chair too. However, I don't know if it's due to the aesthetics but it felt old / poor kept, but I am sure the staff clean everything ... So sad. Staff are 5 stars though . I would reconfirm this for maybe a short stay / few days stay ...

Last minute option after being let down by another hotel. The service was good from helpful receptionists, but the building and rooms are a little dated and in need of some tlc. That said, it was better than paying the ridiculous prices of some of the other hotels in the city.

When i first showed up i was greeted rudely. My carer was with me and my partner as they help me get dressed and eat aswell as helping with my mobility aids as i switch between my rollator and wheelchair depending on my mobility and was there for gay pride with my fiance so i explained my carer will be here in the morning for an hpur and for an hour at night before getting a taxi home to help me get ready for bed. They accused me on more than one occasion of trying to let my carer stay in the room illegally which i explained several times was not the case. They stopped me while i was clearly in pain and struggling with my mobility aid multiple times just to ask the same questions over and over. They kept coming up to the room asking when my carer was leaving every 5 minutes from when my carer gets to the hotel in the morning and when i come back at night. I was half naked getting changed when they knocked on another time and they refused to leave even when i screamed that i was half naked and needed him to leave he did not and my partner had to explain the carer situation again cos they insisted in coming in cleaning and when we said no cos i was half naked and that he needed to leave he asked again when my carer was leaving. He then denied doing this later to my face. This happened on both friday and Saturday. I heard groups of 10-30 adults and children downstairs in one room being loud with extremely loud music. On top of this there was a gap in the room door. Etc
