I had a word with the receptionist on the day of my check out regarding my concerns for the cleanliness of the bedroom.Upon check in i can see some dust especially behind the door. The next day,i was shocked that my bed was half done only.Sink was not cleaned and hair dryer was left exactly the same since i was in a rush that morning.Bits of toilet rolls behind the door and more dust.Housekeeping not doing there job properly.I have been to almost all of the hotel chains and this was the first time ever that thebed was not done properly .Much better service when i was at travelodge or premier inn standard to think that it is Marriit Bonvoy chain. Even on the dining room table,being the first customer in the moring i can see some crumbs on an empty and unused table. Room was noisy can hear very loud from outside and the lay out of the bed that you cant stand in front of it since its almost next to the wall where the tv is.The bed is on a platform like of wood which i almost knocked my foot. I hope that the receptionist that day mentioned it to her supervisor all my concerns since i did not get any feed back at all since

The Reach at Piccadilly was a really nice hotel. The rooms are new and modern, with excellent facilities. We liked the large TV in the room, the modern and powerful shower, a fridge and glasses in the room. The pillows could've been a bit firmer though and it was quite warm with a thick duvet in summer. We would return as the hotel is ideally placed for the station, shops and eateries. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely fresh modern hotel

Lovely modern hotel, really close to Piccadilly. Friendly staff, beautiful room and bathroom with a rainforest type shower. Lots of extra touches like free sample drinks in the foyer, some sky channels in the room (sports, cinema etc) and a pod coffee machine. As other reviews have said there isn’t much room to walk around the bed in a standard room, I’d say only about 1ft between bed and the tv wall, so you had to shuffle (as bed is also up a small step) so if you have mobility issues perhaps upgrade your room, but it didn’t bother us at all.

Great hotel but not enough staff

Very friendly staff who needed a few extra hands on deck to help them out. Busy with concert guests and not enough bar staff. Breakfast a bit chaotic and expected to sit at a low bar table to eat - not ideal. Lovely decor and very clean.

Ok for 1 or 2 nights max.

On arrival I was not asked if I had stayed before and was given no information on where things were. The room was very small, not enough space to hang clothes if staying for more than a couple of nights. Me dirty mugs and spoons were not cleared away and replaced with clean, biscuits not replaced.

I love staying here, the staff are brilliant. As I have work in Manchester, I often come to stay here once a month. I find it great value for money also. The only negative is that they don’t have options for their pillows which are really soft and fluffy, but I prefer a firm pillow. If they provided that, this would be my favourite hotel ever!
