The Reach is a lovely, new hotel close to Piccadilly Station. The only staff I came into contact with were both at reception. Neither of them were the friendliest. Check in was a little awkward. I was told the only thing outstanding was the £1.20 tourist fee but as I presented my card to the card reader I saw that I was being charged £51.20. Only then when I queried the £51.20 charge was I told that there was a £50.00 security deposit. Its not good enough to be told of this additional charge only after I have paid it.

Amazing hotel
We loved our stay at the reach, it exceeded our expectations. The location was great, right next to the train station, staff were so friendly and nothing was too much for them. Room was very clean, good shower, comfy bed. Only issue was our tv was very slow but that didn’t matter much. Would love to visit again!

Lovely stay at The Reach hotel
A brilliant stay at The Reach hotel Manchester, the room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. They went the extra mile to ensure the rooms had everything we could need e.g. an iron, hairdryer, tea & coffee as well as complementary snacks! The hotel staff were very always very friendly and efficient. The location was great too, very central for shopping or the train station. Lovely stay, I would come back for sure!

Horrendously noisy room. We had an adjoining room, and the door between the two rooms didn’t seem to be sound proofed at all. We could hear all conversations in the next door room crystal clear and were woken up at 2am by them talking loudly. The tv just kept turning itself off with no warning. The hotel advertises they have TNT sport and sky sports in the rooms - yet neither channel worked. The room was also very dark with not enough lights. The bottom of the toilet pan was dirty and splashed in some substance. Disappointing. Had booked to stay there again in February, but will try and cancel and stay elsewhere.

Lovely done up hotel and layout. Looked clean but the floor around the bed area was noticeably dusty as the lights are at floor level in the room. Most staff were friendly and had a good attitude but there was a member of bar staff who seemed like the couldn’t be bothered. Would rate our stay 7/10. Would stay again.
