The upgrade bid surprised me as my booking was upgraded to a 2 bedrooms apartment with just a little top up! The big and tidy apartment made my days in Manchester.

Bed was like mash potato. It wasn't a double bed they put two singles together leaving a gap in the middle. But once again mash potato bed horrible and not comfortable. Place was also very loud. You can hear neighbours talking, the tv and all noise from outside comes through. There is a constant noise in the walls from pipes etc or something banging. There was a dirty towel in the room and asked one of the housekeeping people for a clean towel and in a dismissive way just waves and says no go downstairs and buy one from reception.

Great value , clean, quiet central and great staff
Very central and close to everything . Apartment very quiet considering location and had decent sized rooms . The big and only issue I found , was the 1-2 seater sofa bed. The sitting cushion never stayed slotted in and you had to keep pushing it back and not the comfortable . Overall though will be back as great value for money and staff were great .

We had an amazing stay at Stay City. We stayed whilst in Manchester for our anniversary and a night out. The hotel upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment, left us goodies and all the staff we met were great. The room was clean, comfortable and with everything needed. The aircon was good, great TV and hairdryer. A shelf in the shower would help as there is nowhere to put anything but again, a minor niggle. the showers were powerful and hot, and it was great to have 2 bathrooms in the 2 bed. We had a good nights sleep, the mattress on the bed was a little soft for me but that is a personal preference.

Really nice apartments, all very well maintained and everything you need for a short stay. Ours faced the front and train station entrance so was quite noisy although not too bad at night. If you prefer quiet, ask for one at the other side.
