It was my second stay at the hotel. The room was very clean and had all facilities needed. The breakfast was lovely and staff very polite and helpful. However, I was disturbed by a male staff member entering the room at 6am, there was no indication that the room was free at that point.. We shouted and the member of staff closed the door. I complained to the reception staff, one of them was not very understanding and could not grasp the severity of the incident. It was not good enough, I felt vulnerable and unsafe and nobody seemed to care. I would have rated the hotel a 10/10 otherwise. I hope a member of the management team investigates this complaint correctly and gets back to me.

Breakfast service appalling

Check in was fine although disappointed to been given an accessible room when we booked well in advance. Room was very clean and comfy bed. Breakfast was an absolute joke! No cups for coffee and when they came coffee machine worked but no coffee! My husband likened the service to a soup kitchen. No sausages or fried eggs but because I waited for eggs which actually came out with white still transparent the mushrooms and beans were cold. The staff were all lovely but because of the breakfast set up we would never even consider staying again.
