This was a beautiful hotel to stay. From the lovely staff who greeted us when we arrived, to the cleaning staff, the staff at breakfast and at check out all were super friendly, so polite and very professional. The hotel and our room was immaculate. The amenities in the room were lovely- coffee machine, kettle, fridge. Just beautiful. We had a deluxe twin room. The breakfast was lovely and very reasonably priced. We will be back loved it.

Ideal location in Manchester

I stayed for three nights at The Reach and it will now be my hotel of choice. Ideally located just a few minutes from Piccadilly Railway Station and about ten minutes walk from the Arndale Centre and Printworks. The closeness to the Railway station meant that it was easy to travel to and from Old Trafford. I really liked the breakfast and bar choices, the room was the appropriate size with the perfect shower. Excellent staff with the reception staff on duty on the Friday afternoon and the Monday morning being exceptional with their friendly, customer orientated and helpful manner. I will be back.

There was a buffet breakfast for 12.50 GBP, which I didn't partake, but it looked like there was plenty of choice. The bed was comfortable but oddly placed. One couldn't walk around it, so if two people were staying, one person would have to crawl across the bed and the other person to get to their side. The bed reading lamp was on the side of the bed that needed to be crawled over. As I was alone, it wasn't an issue for me. The TV was huge. The light switches were odd. I never did figure them out, just kept flicking them on and off to see what switch operated what light. It was also very low lighting, so as a person who needs plenty of light to see, it was a little frustrating. Very clean room with plenty of tea, coffee and snacks provided. The air conditioning worked well and was appreciated during the heat wave. Nice shower with plenty of pressure. The hotel is a five minute walk from the railway station, as well as many shops and restaurants, pubs. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
