Check in was a breeze and the front desk was STELLAR. Every time we passed, we were met with a hello and a smile. The hotel is in a fantastic location and breakfast was very good (lots of variety). Parking was a bit confusing…no signs indicating a parking garage until you happen to go down the alley. The room was large, but nothing very fancy which was shocking considering the high price. The towels were like sandpaper. I actually used a washcloth like a loofa. The beds were too firm for our liking (aching joints every morning). The ceiling light had paper towels or Kleenex stuffed around the edges; we never did figure out why that was. To help be echo friendly, we left our towels up off of the floor but housekeeping took them every day (there is a sign in the room saying they wouldn’t if we wanted to be echo friendly.). All in all, not a bad stay, but we will probably stay across the street next time or across town in our favorite Vrbo.

Great place to stay!

Great hotel! Love how big the rooms were and the bathroom was good too! Had a king standard room and the bed had 6 soft pillows, there was extra blankets available in the room and the bath towels weren't too small. Had a great view of the campus and the hospitality at the front desk and lounge area was great!

We always enjoy staying at the Bluemont when we are in Manhattan. The bar is great and always has a great selection of drinks! The hotel is clean and everyone is super friendly. And breakfast is fantastic.
