Terrible Hotel. No hot water. Only one day when there was warm water in the shower. I will not recommend Americans like me to stay at this hotel. You will be sorry.

The room we had was not the greatest. But the staff was friendly and the sheets were clean also the AC was an older model, and was loud. Not to mention there was no mini fridge. The bathroom was dated, and was in need of a new shower door. This room needs remodeling. If you are looking to stay here for a night or two, it’s fine, but no more than that.

I spent 5 nights while in Manila. 5 minutes away from the mall of Asia. Very old hotel, room had a mouldy smell. No hot water, just barely warm. Missed placed my room card and the front desk wanted to charge 200p for replacement, till I had to get little angry. Low budget, don’t recommend this one for sure.

There is a bad vibe from some of this hotel's procedures. Just because it's business, does not mean you can talk to a person any which way. Does your front desk think? "We don't move, you move. When we tell you to do something, you do it. You pay that extra fee. But if you make a reasonable request, we don't honor that because we're higher than you." Just because it's part of your job doesn't mean you can be condescending. Guests typically don't sign up for intrusive treatment, having their ID Driver's License taken a picture of using a front desk staff's smart phone. After you did that, a lady in your front desk said it will be deleted after we leave. We followed your rules and paid the entire bill, then after asking the front desk staff to delete our ID photos another lady said "It's for documentation". That reply reveals how low you think of your guests. 1 star rating for that. Is your owner paranoid about guests doing something? Then you also make guests paranoid having their IDs stored in your system, for what? You're going to investigate them? You don't have many of your guests' approval to take or keep pictures of their IDs! For 2 days we paid for 3 persons' breakfasts. So we should get 3 x 2 = 6 vouchers. Your front desk staff gave FOUR meal vouchers. After your mistake, a front desk employee said to go and get the old voucher, give it back.. rude. Felt worse after a 3 day visit at your hotel, won't recommend. Hope you get the same treatment one day.

Staff takes pictures of your ID for each person using the room before you even enter the elevator. If the listing says you booked for 2 adults, the hotel could ask 800 php more for an extra guest for their standard room. For the price of a standard room,book a different better pricier hotel than this with better amenities. Would not repeat with this hotel, it's no Marriott.. it's like getting nickel and dimed here. Should have heeded the reviews and went for a pricier hotel and not this hotel trying to be cheap.

I am glad to have extended my stay in this fabulous hotel for the 5th time for a total of 28 days since arriving on April 25. The great pleasant, friendly personality and hospitable attitude of the front office staff headed by Lily, Camille down to the worklaholics JM, Zael, Bhench and Elai have made my stay a truly pleasant experience at a place away from home. I commend everyone from the doorman, security, maintenance, housekeepers, bar and restaurant staff, Princess, Francis and Gayle who all gave their hearts out to assist me in every way they can. Everyone is fully equipped with the kind of personality which every traveler would look forward to in their travel itinerary. Kudos to everyone and to 88 Courtyard Hotel.

This a great hotel for the price, It’s location to the airport and transportation options and malls and options for restaurants make a good stop off point, we have used this hotel every time we visit the Philippines since 2014 which is every other year, Luggage storage is awesome since we leave a bag or two while we go to various location we travel to

You have to push hard for the room door to lock . Shower needs glass door or shower curtain otherwise it will be slippery when water gets in to the floor. Overall stay is good, will book there again. Staff are nice and friendly

The pictures of this property are very deceiving, i'm not sure about other rooms but mine was terrible, the room smelled moldy, the shower was dirty around the base, the linen looked old, the carpet even worse if not for the location being close to everything I needed I would have checked out immediately. On top of the very bad property condition they want you to place a 2k php deposit and for what I'm still not sure, then they want to take pictures of your passport and store them god knows where, also wanted a 500 php deposit when i requested extra towels I mean just tired to nickel and dime me the whole time and then upon check out they even tried to charge me for a soda I brought into the property by claiming I used it from the stock fridge. Overall my experience here was POOR and I would not recommend this place especially for travelers use to clean rooms and basic amenities being included. This place gave me a bad vibe and I wont be back, I normally stay at another location when in Manila which requires NO DEPOSIT, DOES NOT PHOTOGRAPH PASSPORTS and PROVIDES ANY EXTRAS FREE OF CHARGE. I should have never taken a chance here. Spend your hard earn money elsewhere.
