The Savea Bay City Hotel has some truly great qualities, but it's important to be aware of the drawbacks, especially regarding comfort.
The Upsides
The hotel truly excels in its staff service. Every member, from the receptionist to the bell staff, security, and housekeeping, was great and offered excellent service.
The breakfast is also a significant plus. It's generally great, though the orange "juice" tastes more like syrup than actual juice. The restaurant food is decent, especially the eggs, but other items aren't quite up to par. However, since the breakfast is complimentary, it's hard to complain! The room itself is nice and cozy.
The Downsides
Despite the nice room aesthetic, there are three major issues that severely impact the stay:
• The Mattress: The spring mattress is extremely uncomfortable. Lying down caused so much back pain that we couldn't sleep the entire night. It's worse than a sofa.
• The Hot Water: The hot water system in the shower is inadequate. The water is only lukewarm, not properly hot.
• Toiletries: I strongly suggest bringing your own toiletries. The supplied toothpaste is cheap and small, barely enough for a single use, definitely not for two people.

Final Verdict
If you are a traveler who prioritizes location and excellent staff service above all else, the Savea Bay City Hotel could be a consideration.
However, if a comfortable, good night's rest is a requirement for your stay, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.
