Anniversary get away!
My wife and I got away for a quick overnight to get away to Mohican state park, one of our favorite places in Ohio because of its calming atmosphere and friendly small town flare around loudenville, Ohio. The Hilton garden inn was great! I will have to say that with the small amount of restaurant choices in the immediate surroundings around the hotel it would have been nice to have a hot breakfast as part of the cost of the nights stay like other brands do, and not have to pay extra for a breakfast which chose not to do that but went in town for a much more modest cost for breakfast. That was our only disappointment with the hotel. We also appreciated the hot tub and the indoor pool which we enjoyed much. It is hard to find a hotel with both pool and hot tub to enjoy with the night’s stay.

For the price of the stay it was really not worth it. The breakfast was only cold food. The beds were uncomfortable. The back door to where the cars were parked was never locked. Anyone could have walked into the Inn.

We stayed in room 320. The room itself seemed clean but there was scuff marks all over the baseboard. The pillows were uncomfortable and the room would not cool down. The bath tub was old and very grimy. The shower curtain rod was broken and the curtain wouldn’t stay shut and the tub faucet was pulled away from the wall. The property is old and out dated.
