This hotel had upgrades & pleasantly a great place to stay. Largest tv out of any hotel in OBX. For the price best deal anywhere in OBX & i have stayed well over 35-40 different hotels ( I'm a surfer & visit quite often). I stayed here a year ago & definitely nicer.

Very good room at a reasonable price. In fact, i would posit that Heart of Manteo offers the best rates in the area. I have stayed there close to 20 times and never had a problem.

There's quite a bit around the heart of manios if you go a mile or so up the road you can fish under the bridge if you go four blocks five blocks up the street you're in the historic Roanoke area was a lot of great restaurants and things to do and anywhere around there for fishing it's just a fun place

I stayed here with my family, including children, and we were given a spacious suite that made our stay very comfortable. The staff was exceptionally professional and always ready to assist. I was particularly impressed with their streamlined, tech-savvy checkout system: there’s a self-checkout computer in the lobby, and with a simple click, you’re connected to someone on the other end who guides you through the process. Additionally, they’ve thoughtfully stocked their office with essentials—like towels, shampoo, and even items for tea or coffee, such as sugar, milk, and cream. If no staff is around, guests can easily help themselves to these supplies. It was my first time seeing this setup, and I found it to be a smart and efficient use of technology for enhancing guest convenience.
