We stayed at Rainbow Bend for a week in October (Suite 9 🌈❤️). Everything was perfect for our family of 3. Sharing our patio area with iguanas and curly tailed lizards was fun. The premises are beautiful. And the sunrise right from the property was unforgettable. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟

I love this place. The room is beautiful, spacious and comfortable with a full kitchen. French doors leading to a wonderful patio just off a huge heated pool and jacuzzi i fully enjoyed. There is a cafe on site that serves a complimentary breakfast. It’s right on the water, the breeze is a delight. So happy I stayed here.

Out of all of the properties we have visited, this has a beautiful location and I love that it was dog friendly. If I could suggest some things, I would suggest the property condos are spruced up a bit by paint and upgrading the furniture which would turn it into a 5 star for me. Also, the dining area was great and the service was phenomenal, however, coffee cups were tiny and the food was not good. If I were to suggest just putting in a continental breakfast with a waffle maker, that would be better because after trying it the first day, we didn't even want the free breakfast. Or, you could upgrade the food to a better quality and even charge, but the free breakfast was not even hotel free breakfast quality. The pool and hot tub were beautiful and well kept as well as the grounds and they offer glass bottom kayaks and bikes. Great amenities for the area. The blankets needed upgrading as well, so upgrade the lotion, soaps, furniture, blankets and pillows and paint the walls and base boards and use a great odobon cleaner or something because dogs pee in the units obviously and you have a 5 star property. The staff was also top notch I just know that I have puppies and we will be coming back to the keys and this could be so much more with those small upgrades. Thank you for a wonderful time to everyone who works there.

The rooms are simple, they had a nice restaurant for breakfast, delicious French toast and nice staff. Wanted to try it for dinner but it did t work out. Lovely view. I would go again… main drawback is no access for a boat.

So let me start by saying that we have stayed here before., and had a wonderful time. My wife just had her 2nd birthday beating leukemia and this was how she wanted to celebrate. We traveled from Philly area starting at 4:30 AM and got to Rainbow bend around 3:30 after a nice stop at bass pro for lunch and shopping. when we tried to check in we were told the room we reserved was not the one we were getting. she (Jeanette) stated we reserved thru Expedia, and that was the issue. I told her we also called the lodge to confirm. She was not hospitable at all! She wanted to put us in a room facing the road. I asked if there wass one facing the ocean and her response was if there is it may cost more and we would have to pay for it! this woman should never be allowed to talk to guests. Her response was - she was having a bad day. I told her to get over it and solve the problem, She had a crappy attitude so i got right back at her and she asked if we wanted to cancel our reservation. At that point my wife (the reasonable one) asked to see her manager. The manager (owner) came and got us into a very nice room facing the beach. the beach is very nice with corn hole games and kayaks. the grass in the water is a bit smelly and totally not swimmable. the pool was very nice and always clean. it is a nice place but i don't think at this point we will be back. If you go, call the place and schedule directly with them.

It was a quiet, clean resort nestled right on the ocean! We sat out on the deck at night and looked up at the bright stars! Breakfast, kayaks and bike usage was included with our stay!

It was nice to be at a property that was not crowded and right on the beach. Our 2 bedroom had plenty of space. Free parking and breakfast. Kids enjoyed playing corn hole. Our room had great views. Actual beds were comfortable. Nice to have kitchen but no fry pan to cook our quesadillas in. They do need to do some painting and maintenance in that room. Our sofa bed which we paid a premium each night for our 5th person ($60 each night) to sleep on had issues so the person had to sleep on top of the couch and not use the bed and sheets. The room was decorated cute. When we first walked in it smelled very bleachy and musty so we had to open the windows each time we entered. We picked the place because they had kayaks, SUP, and bikes to use. Water around property was super shallow and grassy (it is on Grassy Key) so only went out once and not for very long. Our son wanted to use a paddle board but no one was in the office to get a paddle after we checked in. Used pool but no towels available which was okay since hot. It was a quiet place right on a beach and sort of a half way point if u are going to Key West. All the pictures on Expedia for the room we paid for did not match up with the room we got.
