Could use some upkeep but overall a very cute property. Unfortunately, we chose to leave early to stay elsewhere as the sea grass that had accumulated near the small marina was very smelly. It seemed the a/c blew it right into our room. We do understand that it is nature and there is not anything that the hotel employees have control over. It just didn’t work for us. The employees were very kind and helpful.

This was our first visit, and we were beyond impressed. It's a smaller local resort and not part of a big chain, which we loved. We also loved how close it is to the restaurants and shops,but far enough away to feel quiet and secluded. The receptionist at check-in in was super friendly and helpful and gave us a tour. Pool, beach, boat dock, what more could you want!!!

After a day at Key West we decided to stay here. I am so glad we did. Excellent customer service. The pool was a great addition. Having the bike was a plus to use to galavant around the neighborhood. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here especially anyone on a couples weekends. I would definitely come here again.

Property is beautiful and well maintenanced. Great location with a nice view. Staff was very welcoming and offered great dining recommendations. Lots of free bikes, water sporting equipment for use, also had beach gear to use for the day. 1 free bag of ice included with stay. In site Laundry facilities. There were a few things that should be updated/replaced. We stayed in Suite#1 the room smelled musty, no iron and the microwave was very old, interior was peeling and burnt. We wanted to use it but we felt it was very unsafe. Microwave needs to be replaced ASAP! Shower water pressure could be have been stronger.

Lovely location but overpriced

The resort is on the sea front and a car is needed to get to any shops or restaurants. The room is basic and certainly does not reflect the high price we paid.

I chose this motel because it had a 9.4 exceptional rating. Fool me once - never again! I normally don't write negative reviews. But Hotels.com keeps badering me for a review. Our room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room smelled very musty. The pedestal sink had nowhere to put your toiletries. The building was very old. The grounds were well kept. I've been a militarty/airline/corporate pilot traveling the world for over 40 years. I've stayed in thousands of hotels. This was my least favorite. Crummy at best, but clean. I really have to wonder where all those positive reviews of this place came from? Maybe 8.7 stars in some people's eyes? But 9.4 Exceptional? What the hell? We paid $400 for 1 night. At $200 a night in season in the Keys, it might be a 3 star in someone else's opinion. But terrible, in my opinion. I would not stay there for free...

This small property has clean, well-maintained rooms in a beautiful spot in marathon. We appreciated ease of using kayaks and paddleboards. We decided to stay 2 nights. Staff was very accommodating. We had to switch rooms, and they prioritized cleaning our new room so we could easily move from one to another. Love the 60's feel of the architecture and the privacy.

Thank you Chris for making us feel so welcome and orienting us to your facility. We stayed in room 9 and felt that it was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. We borrowed kayaks and enjoyed paddling around the area. Your pool and beach area were lovely and relaxing. The courtyard outside our room was also fun with picnic tables and comfy seating. The pelicans and cormorants at your marina were fun to watch. We loved our stay. Our only suggestion is to add a method to vent the shower steam in the bathroom. Thank you!
