We knew the restaurants at the hotel were closed, what we didn’t expect was the areas to have been abandoned. It was eeery. The hotel also looked like it wasn’t being maintained whilst the ownership dispute was ongoing. The hotel was tired looking. The hotel staff did a great job keeping the hotel running, but it was a significant downgrade from past years we’ve stayed. Such a shame, with an impact on our trip.

We knew about the referb work at the hotel but found the hotel to be tired and in urgent need of the referb. We stayed in the hotel 13 years previously and really enjoyed our stay but I guess the passing of time affected it. I'm sure it will be lovely when it gets completed.

Great breakfast! And on the waterfront!

Great location for what we needed, hotel car park was not accessible anlthough there was anlrernate parking free nearby. Our outdoor jacuzzi could have been hotter and cleaner. Breakfast was excellent.

we had a nice, relaxing 5-day stay and enjoyed our terrace with hottub, which is a Junior Suite on the roof. That part was great. However, there is limited dining and no parking, but we were pre-warned about that. The hotel and room need updating there were many things worn out or not working - the taps had lost their chrome coating, the oven hotplates had a extractor fan and light which didn't work, and a lot of the wood trims were worn and needing repair and repainting. Around the hotel was run down, the beach bar was shut there was only one dining option, nothing more outside the hotel except a 15 - 20 min walk to Puerto Banus. For us it was fine as we had a car, but the hotel is not well located for easily dining out. Would we go back? Maybe, if the room was offered at a good rate.

We really liked our stay. The views are just breathtaking, it is quiet and very relaxing environment. My toddler enjoyed the beach daily and loved his morning and evenings walks. I appreciated the convenience of constantly having taxis available. We will definitely come back.

Likely a great place when everything is open

Nice property, but many of the on-site conveniences, luxuries and restaurants were not available. Regardless, the room was very nice. Off season prices probably need a revisit. The beach was littered, likely from a recent storm. (not the hotels fault). Big ugly barricade around the pool, probably some sort of mandate out of their control. Breakfast was good. Room cleanliness, also good. Again, I think value for the price was compromised by so many things shuttered, taped off (yes, actual tape), and closed. We were offered a discount prior to arrival making us aware that some on-site facilities would be closed. That facilities were still closed, but the 30% discount was not honored.

Great location but a bit tired

The hotel is in a great location between Puerto Banus and San Pedro right at the beach. We were staying jn a suite which although clean with great space was a bit tired in places abd definitely needed a rewire, sockets not working or coming out wall. The bed was really hard and very uncomfortable fir me personally. The staff were very attentive and the food was ok.
