renovated cabins are good
I was running late at the North Rim, rang the reception, was put on hold for > 20 minutes, extra stressful. Otherwise, new rooms are great.

Great stay. Breakfast service was slow because they also had a coffee / espresso bar and servers were too busy filling orders for fu- fu coffee. We left restaurant and continued our travel.

We were given a room in the "old" part of hotel. Broken slider, toilet ran, shower door would not close & faucet would not stop running. I mentioned this to front desk, who had nothing to say. There were at least 4 other choices to give us, none were offered. We were "billed" $806 for who knows what...still waiting for refund from this and the 2nd night when there was no electricity & no idea when it would come back on.

Everything about this place was great EXCEPT- we drove in late around 10pm (so it was very dark) we typed in the address on the expedia email and it brought us to the middle of nowhere, 30 min past the actual destination. Luckily, we found the spot but just make sure you type in Marble Canyon Lodge on your google maps and not the address given cause you will get lost and there is barely any service out there. Other than that great stay, super cute lodge with a fire pit.

Had a problem with the room I booked and they promptly moved us to a different room. This room was very clean and beautifully updated. The restaurant was also updated and very good food. Location is remote but quiet and safe. Pets were welcome and lots of room around the facility to walk them. A good stay (but book a renovated room).
