The room and bathroom were clean and recently renovated, except for bathroom door. I was disappointed that the restaurant listed only served breakfast. Location was good.

Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was good for basing a trip on the Cabot Trail. Balcony view was really good. Not a very good value for the class of room. Overall, a good choice for trekking the Cabot Trail

Had a car accident (that was not our fault) in Halifax on our way to the Duck Cove Inn. Called to cancel and was told they would not accept our cancellation request as they hold a "Strict, No Cancellations" policy. I am sure their lack of humanity carries over to the way they treat guests when they stay there. There are many other more attractive options nearby. Don't stay there.

The property was super clean and quiet. The view from our room was great. Our only negatives were a lack of lighting and perhaps some sheer curtains which would provide some privacy and light.
