Grace house review
Our double room had the bathroom down the hall, but despite repeated attempts there was no way to shut (or lock) the door from the inside as it was catching badly on the frame. Bath mat in the bathroom wasn't clean. Mirror in the bedroom was leant up against the wall rather than attached, so had to bend over double to use. Small window in the bedroom had no curtain and a light right outside. Noisy room (traffic noise, doorbell of late arriving guests, and could hear upstairs snoring). Functional and fairly clean bedroom, wouldn't go back.

Excellent location. Be warned there is no sign and the hotel just looks like a normal house . Hotel and the rooms are very basic but very comfy bed . The person who welcome us was very friendly . Excellent location if you go to see a concert in Dreamland

Friendly welcome, room nicely decorated, clean and tidy, bed comfortable, pillows a bit flat but we just slept on both of them, good shower. Yes the sink is small but it depends on what you want it for!? Big enough to wash your hands and brush your teeth, might struggle with a flannel! No TV but who watches TV anymore anyway! A full size mirror would be useful.

The owner was a nice man, but the shower was stuck on hot, and if we hadn’t offered to change rooms then we would’ve have to use the shower on another floor which we weren’t keen on doing.

No tv in room wooden floors that are slippery when just out of shower impossible to have a wet shave due to design of bathroom and no hot water Luke water at best stayed for 5 nights and room not cleaned once

Improve should be made but from 10 - strong 8
It was very nice room with separate room for relax,really enjoyed. No one changed rubbish bags, or neither towels in 3 days, that was little confusing, i know it was cheap but towels is hygiene thing with was included,no cleaning in 3 days. But all other things is great, near see and town center l in 5 min walk.

Very disappointing
I couldn’t tell I was at the right location as there are no signs saying Grace House or anything else to suggest this property is a guest house. Checked with a local neighbour who said she regularly gets asked same question. The reception is so weird - a guy said your room 9 and didn’t offer any information at all! I felt as though I was an inconvenience, I asked about parking and buying food but aside from answering (with bare minimum) that was it. As a lone woman I felt really uncomfortable at this guest house due to the lack of some friendly exchange of information. The room was generally clean but the bed extremely uncomfortable. There was no info about wifi (I was here for work purposes) There didn’t seem to be many people around but there was a noisy couple in next room banging doors having sex then showering after 1am. The bathroom has a good shower but tiny sink. This is budget and I wasn’t expecting great things but can’t understand how other reviews speak of such a friendly warm welcome! On check out I had to wake the guy up to give him my key! Weirdest experience of a overnight stay ever!
