Something in air the room was aggravating and the thermostat made the room too warm. The saving grace was the fan mode on AC unit as it purified the air a little and cooled the room to an acceptable temperature.

The photos online made this property look much nicer than it actually is. The pool, sauna, and hot tub areas looked outdated, with a musty smell and no towels available. Our room also had a strong musty odor — we had to go out and buy Febreze just to make it tolerable. At the pool and sauna, there wasn’t enough seating or space for small groups or families to relax comfortably. There were only a few chairs, and it didn’t make sense why there wasn’t more available for guests — especially for a hotel of this size. If I wanted to stay somewhere that smelled damp and old, I could’ve just stayed at my camp for free. On Saturday night, the front desk lady even asked what room we were staying in while we were in swimsuits trying to use the pool — it came off as judgmental and made us uncomfortable. The pool itself was overcrowded and noisy, with people who didn’t seem to belong to the hotel using it. The only positives were the location and parking — easy access to restaurants and the highway — but overall, it wasn’t worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend staying here again until the property updates its rooms and amenities.

So cute and retro renovated. It was an overnight on our way home but the price point was great for the stay itself! We don’t end up using the pool but love the option of having one.

Disappointing Breakfast - ate elsewhere

Breakfast was non-existent. They only had a couple slices of bread, muffins, 3 types of cereal (no milk), and microwaved french toast sticks. I recommend the hotel remove the breakfast option completely if this is all they offer. Room cleanliness and amenities were standard for this price range. Would stay again.

Never again. Balcony you use to access the rooms on 2nd floor felt completely unsafe. Floors in the room had so many spongy spots. Rooms were large, and beds were okay, but that was the end of anything decent. Not ONE HOOK to hang coats or towels in the entire room, not even the bathroom. Linoleum floors felt gritty, not a place I'd ever walk around barefoot. No hair dryer, no coffee maker. BARE BONES place, with little to recommend it, other than "cheap".

well we didnt even stay one night due to the mold we found in room 113's bathroom and what looked like water marks on the ceiling tiles but the staff was nice and helpful

Our room was nice, beds were clean, bathroom had a lot of space, the air/heating was hard to get it right, did not realize we had to walk outside to get to the pool, then 2 out of 3 nights of our stay there was no towels at the pool and we were warned about stealing towels and to bring them back like we were being accused already. the breakfast was not the best, french toast sticks that were partially hard and soggy at the same time were the only hot options, no yogurt, had orange juice and cereal though and some little muffins that the kids enjoyed.

They did a great job with the decor. It’s just an old building and it’s hard to make something that old look five star. Staff did a great job with the food service, but the company just doesn’t provide the best quality of food. Your breakfast was average, it was acceptable.

Room was pretty outdated. Carpet was very dirty. The air conditioner was blowing out black stuff onto the bed. The parking in the area we were at by door 5 was a bit over crowded but door 4 isn’t far away and parking on the other side is a bit better. The staff was great and very friendly! We stayed on the cedar side and I don’t think that side was updated like the other side. But the bed was comfy a the water pressure was good!
