Great Location and Very Nice Hotel
This hotel seemed to be relatively new and was very nice. It was right on the waters of Lake Superior. The outdoor space was lovely with tables and chairs right by the water. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a nice gift shop in the lobby. The beds very comfy and nice bathrooms. They had balcony rooms, but we did not reserve that room type. They have a great location close to Pictured Rocks National Shoreline. We definitely stay there again and hope to...

Comfort Inn in Munising
Weather has a tendency to dictate the activities and rain puts a big damper. We were able to take the Riptide Pictured Rocks ride and would highly recommend and we hiked to Chapel Rocks even with some rain. Great location and would do again. Only negative was booking in advance and online, there was no description of the property. We got a view of the parking lot and the place was jammed so the beautiful lake view I expected was not available. There were plenty of chairs and tables to use but the balcony and lakeside view would have been nice.

If you're looking to stay in Munising, then I can honestly say that you're not likely to be disappointed with this choice. It is situated right on the bay overlooking the water with a nice balcony. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing. It is not a far drive to either downtown or to the Pictured Rocks attractions. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and they do actually offer a fairly good spread for breakfast if you choose to partake (included with room). Excellent for families or just couples looking to getaway for awhile. Overall, I was very happy with this property for the value.

This is such a great hotel! Our room was great! Very comfortable bed, staff was friendly and made helpful suggestions in choosing how to spend our time and where to eat etc. The morning breakfast was perfect before we went out to hike Picture Rocks. There are several little outdoor tables to sit at morning, noon or night and watch the bay. We absolutely loved our stay.

We had a great stay at the Comfort Inn. This hotel is spotless, has a great location and the staff quite friendly. Great views of the bay and a nice backyard area as well. We will return.

Traveling with family. Stayed on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the lake... lovely view. Clean bed sheets. Clean room. Breakfast was pleasant... some bacons and sausage links would've been great with the eggs. The kids enjoyed the waffles.

Clean, comfortable rooms, pleasant staff, great breakfast, perfect location for visiting PRNS. My only complaint is I paid 2-3 times what I usually pay for a room like this. I understand it's the law of supply and demand, but hard to pay such a steep price!

Hotel was fine but they never mentionwd before/at time of booking that they wouldn't be refreshing rooms during our stay. We stayed multiple nights. It would have been great to have had a heads up so we could decide of that was the right situation for us

Good stay
Loved the waterfront location and wished we’d booked a water view room but it worked out since they have a bunch of tables and chairs set up outside so anyone can enjoy the view. Would definitely stay here again. It’s close to downtown Munising so it’s convenient. The staff was very nice. The property is a little dated but it was clean and roomy enough for our 4 day stay. They do not have daily room cleaning but you can request towels at the front desk and I’m sure they would handle cleaning if needed for whatever reason. We normally keep the do not disturb sign on during all of our stays anywhere so we actually didn’t mind this at all. They do not provide shampoo or shower gel like the higher end hotels do (I think they had some tiny travel size items) so bring your own. We really enjoyed our stay. The UP is an awesome place to visit.
