Dani keep the breakfast area SO tidy. She was buzzing around cleaning, straightening, wiping down tables, and refreshing everything. Best kept breakfast area I’ve seen in a long time!

Friendly staff at the desk. Nice little pool and a big sauna spa to help unwind after a day on the road. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was decent. I would stop here again if I'm in Marquette again. Location was easy to find.

Overpriced

Very overpriced for the eclectic hotel that this is. The room, though small, was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner was quiet and efficient. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I actually choice this property because of the sauna that is pictured. However, it isn’t on and heated until someone turns it on. It was a balmy 81 degrees F. After about an hour of heating, it was up to 90. Major disappointment. Having 2 jacuzzis was a nice surprise, though. And they were comfortable, as was the pool temperature. Overall, I probably wouldn’t stay here again, though, as the rates are just crazy for what the room and breakfast are.

Worst hotel experience ever

The worst hotel experience I've ever had. If you're going to stay here, make sure to take pictures of your room as soon as you check in and turn on the TV to make sure it isn't broken because they will charge you for damages that were already there! We made the mistake of not inspecting and documenting our room as soon as we got there. We usually stay at the quality inn when we're in Marquette which has amazing hospitality but chose to go slightly cheaper since we weren't going to be in the room at all except for sleeping. Big mistake! Friday and Saturday we were out all day hiking and visiting family and were only there to pass out. Sunday after we got back from a day of hiking we decided to try to turn on the TV for the first time and it was broken. So then after we noticed the damage on the TV, we looked around for other damages in the room and there were holes and scrapes all over the walls. We called to mention it and they apologized a ton and switched us to a new room and thanked us for being so understanding. The second room also had damages all over the walls and the AC unit didn't work but we were exhausted so didn't complain and just slept in the heat. After we checked out we got a call saying we would be charged for damages even though they said before that they wouldn't charge us and were sorry that we got such a damaged room. I'm actually shocked they didn't try to charge us for damages on both rooms that were given to us already messed up! The manager, I believ

A Three Day Stay

Property is a bit dated & tired, and some of the rooms are quirky, but it's sufficient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, particularly with restaurant next door and easy access to US 41, and parking is plentiful.

It was a good stay, we were there to sleep and shower, the room wasn’t set up the greatest and had a tiny window but I think it was because of the location being the first room after the breakfast area, the ac didn’t work the greatest, and had kind of a musty smell to it, but like I said, it worked for us being only there to sleep and shower. The sauna in the pool room was amazing!
