walking up the main stairs I noticed trash under the steps .people were tracking dirt into the lobby and no one bothered to clean it until the next day. not what I expect from a $300 a night motel.

Great view from the lake front rooms. Parking is the only downside since the hotel is on a hill and parking lot is below with many steps.

We had a room facing the highway, and it was noisy. Though we had a dog and that's how we made the reservation, we didn't get one of the first-floor rooms for pets. Dining in Muninising is mostly burgers and pizza. And few trails in Pictured Rocks are available for dogs.

The view worth it...

First the view was the best of the bay. You can see the hotel from boat trips as well. The room was basic but balcony was worth it. The bathroom wasnt clean as it should have been trash in garbage. Hair in shower. There was someone water in fridge. So clearly not as clean as i would expect. The pool was cold but the hot tub was big and nice relaxing spot after hiking all day. Did include breakfast it was just basic nothing to brag about. But literally the view was worth it all. If your booking here get a balcony room

BEWARE! YOUR BEING MONITORED

They have some sort of motion detector monitoring system on the wall next to the bed. It was constantly clicking every time it senses motion. It felt like big brother was watching me. The second day I wedged a piece of paper to cover it because I was so creeped out. I normally don't leave reviews or I would have thought to video tape it lighting up and clicking at every movement. Scary and unacceptable
