Very convenient property just outside of downtown Munising. Several excellent waterfall hikes are a short drive from the motel. (Wagner Falls, Munising Falls and Miners Falls were our favorites). The boat to see Pictured Rocks is 3 minutes away. Clean facilitues, a friendly staff plus a nice sitting area outside to see the sunset.

Charming lake side hotel
We stayed here 2 nights while visiting the UP of Michigan, and found it to be a really nice, charming hotel. Loved the fact that it was right on the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every evening on the swinging lawn chairs. Our only complaint was there wasn't enough outlets for 3 people to plug stuff in and breakfast was minimal. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was close to several places to eat or shop if you need groceries, and we were thankful for the free ice to refill our cooler when we left. Will definitely stay again in a future visit.

It was a lovely setting And lawn was well maintained Rooms were nice but could use good cleaning along baseboards Bottom sheets didn’t tit right Room service had to be asked for Morning food was very packaged and ok Rolls and bagels were stale Nice breakfast room and setting It was acceptable . For prices of room I pobably expected more. Cheap items . I probably would not stay again .

It is in a quiet location in the edge of town with a large lake front lawn with various sitting areas. Also has a long lakeside porch to access right from your room. But our bathroom was in dire need of a remodel - cracks, missing handles, pieced together door trim, bent towel rails, etc. Somewhat trashed.

The location and grounds are attractive, although it isn’t on a beach! Our room was clean but the walls needed repairs and a fresh coat of paint. The breakfast was very limited.

There was a lot of factory and highway noise some nights. Good room, clean, sink area was pretty small. A wire by the shoreline preventing going by the lake was quite annoying. The lady who staffed the front desk and breakfast area was awesome.

We Had An Awesome Stay At The Beach Inn Motel. The Room Itself Was Very Clean, The Only Reason For The 4 Star On That Issue Was The Dog Hair Left On The Balcony. The Staff Was Ok, But Ran Out Of Items On The Breakfast Such As Tea Bags & Other Items. No Elevator Here & Parking Is Limited But Beautiful Sunsets From Well Taken Care Of Grounds Or Balcony.

We loved the outside seating in the lake. The room was clean and comfortable and it was a great base for our stay. The breakfast was a bit basic, not much choice - we would have expected a better breakfast for the price we paid.
