Wonderful: clean and bright!
Our only minor suggestion is to vary the pillows. The ones in our room were too big. Otherwise the staff was wonderful and the place was spotless. The huge shoreline yard offered several chairs for guests and everyone loved hanging out there.

Enjoyed our stay for the most part, the room was clean, beds very comfortable and the view of Munising Bay was very nice. Especially enjoyed the shower with awesome water pressure! Just a couple minor downsides - the room was lacking a closet for hanging clothes, and there was no decaf coffee in the room or in the breakfast room. Management needs to do a better job of keeping guests from smoking on the shared balcony - ruined my enjoyment of sitting on the balcony.

Super cute stay for a weekend away! Great location! I wish they had had maybe beanbags or some sort of activity on the lawn but there were plenty of seats out there to sit and watch the water and unwind. Would also have appreciated having another dresser or bench in the room to put out things on. Would definitely go back and recommend this place to others! The place was very charming!

Front staff was so kind and gave great suggestions to see around the area. Cute place to stay with great views. Little outdated but still overall well maintained. Our room the AC unit had a broken button but was still after a while got it to work.

The room was clean, but the best thing was the great view. It was relaxing to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sunset. There was also seating on the lawn right by the lake.

This is a locally owned hotel, which I will support over a chain hotel any day. As a smaller operations, some of the details are not there, but the place was comfortable, had everything you needed and you are supporting a local hotel. Plus - An amazing back lawn facing the lake with plenty of chairs, tables and BBQ to utilize to enjoy it. Con - the front door did not have a deadbolt. Wish it did. Continental breakfast could have had more choices. I would stay here again.

Great location just on the edge of town within close proximity to a number of local hiking trails and all the businesses in town, conveniently located on a main road that leads to all the nearby sights to drive to as well. Ample parking, dog friendly with a huge grass yard on the waterfront which makes for beautiful sunset watching. Room isnt updated but is clean, spacious and has everything you’d need (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, table and chairs, cableTV). Staff is friendly and helpful. Free breakfast is offered but we didn’t partake so cant speak to it. This was our second stay in the summer season and we will surely stay again next time we visit the area!

The cleanliness in our room was a lot to be desired. Bathroom was not clean shower curtains had hair on them This bathroom needed a total overhaul. No soaps to actually shower with either. The lake view however was great. Not worth money spent to stay one day at all.

Nice location and property
Beautiful property with spacious rooms, that could use some updating. Great sunset views from the balcony and lots of outdoor seating if you’d like to barbecue or picnic. It’s also well located if you plan to explore Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. You can access the water from the property, but it’s not a beach, it’s quite rocky and flat, so not really suitable for swimming.

The room was very dated, no couch or chair, kung size bed with sheets that did not fit... skept on mattress pad... aur conditioner, heater that ran on 1 speed high blowing dirctky onto head of bed, briught in lawn chair to have a place ti sut. Overoriced and uncomfortable, mediocre.

Cute hotel. Room was clean. And beds were comfortable. Nice and simple continental breakfast. Staff was super nice. Supplying bags of ice and having grills to use was a bonus. Love the balcony and large outdoor space on the lake to enjoy. A few more outlets in the room and more shelves in the bathroom would have been nice. Bathrooms could use a refresh. I would reserve again if back in the area.

The front desk ladies were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were given a little map of most of the places to go and things to see. We were even directed to a couple of places that weren't on the map but, were definitely worth the short drive to see. The room was clean and cool and the view was amazing. Being able to walk to the water and sit in the chairs or just enjoy the view from our balcony was peaceful. The restaurant recommendations were perfect.
