It was ok.

The room was a typical hotel room. It was clean, however it smelled like an entire old man's cologne has been emptied on the carpets and the smell stayed for the duration of 2 nights. It was headache worthy. One of the times we came back to the room there was a lingering old smoke smell, so it's my guess that it was to cover the smoke smell. The beds were also not the most comfortable.

Great place to stay. It's slightly outdated but was very clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the girl at the desk was incredibly sweet and helpful. They are next to the casino and a gas station and the convenience store is just past the desk offering late night hours for any needs. The location was great just about 5min from Munising. If you plan to go out to eat though, don't wait too long. Most restaurants in the area closed by 8 or 9pm nothing against the hotel just something to keep in mind. We would 100% stay here again!

Booked this hotel because it was close to munising and because the online reviews seemed good and mentioned it being clean (my top priority). Was dissapointed with this hotel for several reasons. Upon arrival first things we see are the trash cans near the doors overflowing with trash, which stayed that way all 3 days we were there. Upon entry to our room, we were greeted with a musty smell. Turned the AC unit on and lukewarm air was blowing out. Could see mold speckled all behind the air vents. Went to front desk to switch rooms. The manager tried telling me it wasn’t mold i was seeing and just to give it time to cool down the room. I told her it was definitely mold and if the air coming out of the AC isnt cold, it isn't going to cool the room down. She moved us to a different room. This one was better with working AC and no musty smell. Bed looked clean, sheets looked clean but toilet wasn't and floor hadn't been vacuumed. When we showered the shower head made a terrible high pitched squeeling sound and the drained clogged up so by end of shower the water was above our ankles. I told the manager about the clogged drain. She said i probably just had yhe stopper pushed down. I said no, we definitely checked the stopper and that's not the issue. She did fix it later that day. While this hotel wasnt terrible, it could definitely be improved and maybe hiring more workers to be able to keep up on maintenance/cleaning would be a good idea.

It was a terrible experience. We had to wait for our room more than 5 hours for check in. Hotel didn’t return any money, didn’t give upgrade for waisted time or anything. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
