Stayed for one night with friends. Great location very clean but some areas could benefit from an update in decor. Location is great and the reception lady was very helpful.
This is an older property but incredibly clean! Cleanliness cannot be faulted and the staff absolutely excellent. Well situated across the road to the sea. Food in the restaurant very good.

Great location and friendly service! We appreciated having free and secure parking. Lovely room overlooking the seashore- we rented beach lounge chairs across the street for the day and walked to dinner and the bakery in the morning. We would love to return in the future!
The hotel is simple. Very clean. The balcony very narrow. Bad marks for the proprietor. We arrived early, expecting to be able to leave our cases and return when our room was ready, as we have done very often before. We were met by the owner, who was very aggressive, almost shouting that we couldn’t have a room until three o’clock and telling us repeatedly that our cases would be just behind a curtain and that he took no responsibility for them. This bullying attitude appeared in the ‘Internal Rules’ in the book in the room, where there were the amazing statements that if we were not out of the room by 11:00 our things would be removed, and that anyone taking food away from breakfast would be charged twice. His wife and other staff were pleasant, but typical of him, when we left he simply presented the bill to be paid without an ‘au revoir’ or a ‘Bon voyage’ or even a question whether we had enjoyed our stay. He is what we up north would describe as a misery. Despite him, we had an enjoyable stay.
This was a simple, but wonderful hotel right across the street from the beach. The couple who run the hotel were very friendly and kind. The location was perfect for spending several blissful days in La Ciotat. The interior was dated, but everything was clean and very comfortable. The rooms were quiet and have great air conditioning, too, which can not be said about all hotels in France! I wouldn't hesitate to return!
Small but everything you needed was there. Parking a real plus. The balcony was small but my wife and I had more than enough room to sit out and watch the going ons at the beach. Enjoyed staying here. Super friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is a typical company where the owner does not invest in modern facilities and customer service up to average standards in 2018. The welcome was bad and arrogant. The receptionist said directly that the check in only was available from 3 pm. We know we arrived 1.30 and understand that rooms needs to be cleaned and for logistical reasons rooms are not ready. But it was not that. Nothing logical: it was the rule that counts. Rooms were ready but the rule is that guests only can check in at 3 pm. She told this to us with a very unfriendly attitude and the relation with her was direct negative. Positive thing is that she apologised herself during the actual check in. Thanks for that. But the hotel can have more flexible check in terms and times . Other thing is the room. As you can see on the photos very dirty and old. This hotel needs to be refurbished .ast morning we ordered two coffee. Sure I know we have to pay this. But as a gesture after the apologies for the check in situation we would be really positive surprised with a loyal free coffee. This was not the case and that is the reason this hotel get this bad review. There is no knowledge about customer service and how to get a good relation with a customer. Please re think before booking this hotel.
