We arrived late as our flight got in late. I was quite shocked that the first impression of the place was not nearly as tidy as the photo portrayed. The hotel is connected to a pub that was winding down because of the time but the front office to the hotel was, I guess, the liquor store and it was closed. The only way I could get in was through the back door of the pub and the staff there couldn’t figure out at first what to do with us. Shortly after though I was asked if I had booked with Expedia on line and that brought out a lady who seemed like the head bar lady and she did a wonderful job of getting us checked in. The room was ok at best, clean and tidy but the only picture was a sign on the wall by the mirror warning of a $200.00 fine for smoking. The beds were very comfortable and nice and we slept very well. It was quite quiet actually for the area by the highway that it was located. Thank goodness small town Saskatchewan has wonderful people because I would have to say that almost anywhere else we would have felt like we were in a very stabby neighborhood. Kudos to the nice lady at the pub for checking us in and the comfortable bed and bedding. The room in the picture portrays better than the actual. Probably wouldn’t return or recommend.

You through the Liquor Store to pay for the room, which was OK as I was alone with no children with me. You can enter the back where the rooms are through the back door in the Liquor Store but you can't come out that way. You have to exit through a side door. It was odd. However the price was inexpensive. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I'll stay again but I don't think my wife would care for it.

When you walk into a beer vendor and that is the front desk of the hotel and then dust everywhere. Broken baseboards rust in the shower. I could go on and on. Brutal

Its fine for a place to sleep but it’s not special
The hotel was fine. There was we only one pillow on the bed which was weird. Under the bed bad not been swept in a while. I didn’t feel safe with the locks on the door. The chain lock was on backwards so if you open the door it would slide open, provided no protection at all. I ended up propping a chair against the door to give myself a little piece of mind even though that wouldn’t stop anyone from coming in.
