Be aware that this property has a hotel and motel on site and you may not get a room in the hotel but you won't learn that until you get there. Also know that there may not be door locks on the inside of your motel door. Finally you may not be offered a different room or refund even though the room is not what was represented on the booking page and that there are not locks on the inside of the room

I’m celiac so went out for breakfast. Needed towels in room every day had to ask for them. Was told only check rooms every other day for fresh towels. There was two of us so had to ask for fresh towels . It was convenient for us for my son’s wedding. Will stay there again when we come to the tracks.

I felt like the hotel was in good condition for the price. Really the only negative was that we found a cockroach crawling on the wall of our room above the beds.

Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean and provided basic amenities. Room had a refrigerator and old style microwave, nice flat screen tv. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent and very popular with the locals. Location is excellent, around the corner from the casino/racetrack and very close to historic Charles Town.

Third time at this place, to say it needs updating is a complete utter understatement, they jack the price up for events, the Hilton is only $20 more for a night, do yourself a favor, stay at a better place until they upgrade, toilet 14" off the floor, countertop was barely at my knees, the dwarf motel....
