The property was fine. However, the parent company (Wyndham) has directed all Baymont properties to remove all coffee makers, drinking glasses, and ice containers, from all rooms! What do you use to take medicines or calm a dry cough? In my consumer opinion, a poor decision on their part to save buck.! Time to boycott Wyndham!
I stayed at the Baymont for a friends wedding that was very near by which is why I chose this hotel. I wasn’t expecting fancy by any means but I was immediately greeted with the front desk Laurie, who was shaking her head at me upon walking in and says “I see your ride left”.. like my Uber was supposed to hang out with me all day?? My flight got in at 12. She tells me check in isn’t until 3, giving me attitude, answers 2 personal phone calls while I’m standing there, and thankfully she’s able to get me a room early. That was appreciated, however the room reeked of cigarette smoke so bad I had to get air fresheners just to tolerate the smell for 2 days. I was worried my clothes would stink. I wouldn’t stay here again. I had a couple of other guests staying here as well for the wedding and their rooms didn’t smell as bad as mine, so it may not all smell.

Ok short stay
Bed and ac was comfortable. Found several dead bigs in the room and webbs & dust on s lsmp. Also phone did not work. Overall for the short stay price was acceptable.
****BEDBUGS******Worst Hotel I have ever set foot in. This place should be condemned. Please look into another Hotel and not risk getting bedbugs. When I walked in to our room which was 217 there were blood stains on sheets, pillows, the walls and the room kept getting worse as I looked under the cushions of the couch and the bed and etc….the employee showed me another room and it was just as dirty . He said the owner would refund me in the morning so I left and went to the Holiday Inn which I definitely recommend . The next day I called about my refund and the rude woman said they had me on camera in the hotel room going through it for ten minutes and finding no bed bugs so they would no let be refunding me. I do question how they had me on camera … do they have secret cameras in the rooms? I decided to go down to the hotel and see if I could find the owner so I could get my refund as promised before. Upon entering the hotel I started recording with one phone and tried to show the lady at the desk the video of the night employee saying I would get a refund however she said it doesn’t matter what he says he ain’t the owner. The owner finally came out and after arguing with me he said he would refund me but I’d have to contact the third party I book through so I did . Then the owner told them he would not be refunding me so he lied on video .Finally after threatening to sue the owner he issued the refund. Good for him because I was so ready to go to court over this. *BEDBUGS*
