Good, friendly check-in. Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was alright-- standard hotel breakfast options (pastries, yogurt, fruit, sausage, egg, tater tots, etc.). I chose this place because it was pet friendly ($20/night per pet). The area outside the hotel had plenty of grassy areas to walk the dogs and pet waste stations (although they were out of bags). Overall, a pretty good place to stay the night.

The whole staff (especially Danielle and Liz) were very welcoming and accommodating. My only complaint is that the website and travel sites state "pet friendly" but they do not allow cats.

We needed to change our reservation while in route to our destination. We called the hotel to accomplish the change. The staff were so helpful. Everyone did their best to assist with any needs we had. Excellent hotel, excellent staff. We would highly recommend the Sleep Inn in Charles City, IA.

Stayed a few days. Staff was always friendly. Breakfast available for the full time period every day. Very helpful since some days we were up early and some days we remembered we were on vacation and slept in. The vents were being cleaned midday to reduce impact to guests. Nice to see bigger maintenance projects happening.
