Pros: the staff works really hard and do their best to keep guests pleased. Breakfast was awesome so many choices and the ladies working there were on the move constantly cleaning and refilling all the trays with food so that there was always extra. Very hard working young ladies!!! Front desk very helpful. Again, nothing that can be done more by the staff, noone’s fault, it’s a matter of a property that needs renovation and maintenance. Cons: It’s rated a 2 star hotel, and it’s visible. Online pictures look better than reality. The room wasn't too clean, hairs on the floor. The bathroom shower is moldy. No one’s fault, just obvious the hotel needs serious repair/maintenance. We paid around $150/night so didn't think it was worth the price.

Beautiful view, incredible staff and service

Amazing experience and place! The location is great just few mins away fron the airport. Very clean and always ready to help. The staff was very polite and welcoming. The receptionist in particular one Dana was so polite and helpfull. She helped me a lot to organize my boat trip which was difficult because everything was fully booked. The hotel is beautiful and the athmosphere was great. Very nice for couple.

★★★★★ We had a great stay at Kefalonia Grand Hotel and would definitely come back! The location was perfect, right in the centre with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast had a great variety, with all coffees included, as well as fresh eggs and pancakes made to order from the kitchen, which was a lovely touch. The room itself was on the smaller side, but it was very clean and the daily housekeeping was excellent. Everything was kept fresh and tidy throughout our stay. There is street parking available, which we found quite easy to get during the day, although I imagine it could become more difficult later in the evening. Having a car is also useful for exploring Kefalonia, as some of the beautiful beaches do require a drive, which is pretty standard for the Greek islands. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The location, friendly staff, cleanliness and breakfast made it a great experience, and we would happily stay here again. Definitely recommend!
