The dining was limited to buffets only and was looking for something a little more upscale. There was a rave festival the week we was there and although the resort had no control over this, it still was extremely loud until early hours of the morning. This is a great place if you are bringing your family, enjoy drinking, and if you enjoy all you can eat but for us as a couple looking for a quiet place to relax it was below expectations

First time staying at a Riu and was definitely impressed! Very clean overall, staff was super friendly and helpful the entire trip. The only thing that I didn’t like was how out of the way it felt. Didn’t feel unsafe or anything but just kind of farther away from the busier parts, which I didn’t mind much since there’s no need to leave the resort if you don’t need to! First time coming to Mazatlan and will definitely be back!

Food was excellent and there was literally always someone cleaning the floors. It was spotlessly clean. Lots of pools to choose from, and a nice sandy beach. The water is too rough for ocean swimming, but good for a long stroll down the beach. Our room in the tower was large and really quiet.

Great beach vacation. The propery is great and the staff were excellent. Good live entertainment in the evening. The pool and food service were great. Felt very comfortable and secured. Will surely look into coming back to this place.
