Perfect place

Staff was great and helpful. The room was large and clean the bed was comfortable. Location on the Malcom was great. We could walk wherever we wanted. We felt very safe

The hotel and staff were polite, friendly and caring. The only thing I did not like was the jacuzzi was cold or Luke warm….n it had too many kids playing in it …so much for a quiet time

Just spent 4 days at this hotel. I rate a hotel based on what I experienced, nothing more or nothing less. The hotel is considered a 5 Star Hotel. From my experience, not true. Watch your valuables, stay alert. Infinity pool was beautiful, but all 4 days, was too cold to get in. The jacuzzi was luke warm, and only after we complained it was too cold. View is incredible but you are on the malecon and even with the balcony doors closed, it was loud. Rooms were nice and clean. Rooftop Restaurant was awesome, with food that was quite good. Staff were friendly! Not necessarily always helpful. Price was reasonable. Location a few blocks from the golden mile. Construction around this hotel is ongoing. Would suggest a stay for short term only!

What a great hotel! I got a really nice King room -- which included a balcony. The people were wonderful. They pay a lot of attention to security and will keep you safe. I was worried about noise because the hotel faces on the Malecon. But the walls and sliding doors were super thick and muffled most of the noise. I am usually a harsh critic. But I really loved Varali Grand Hotel.

Overall our stay was great. Across the street from the Malecon. There is a crosswalk right infront of the hotel. At night is noisy if you get a balcony view. But the views are worth the nightly noise. Noice ends around 2am. Breakfast on rooftop is great, excellent customer service. Room service staff were very kind and friendly. Front desk could be a bit more welcoming and friendly to guest going in an out of the building. It’s clean and in a very safe area.
