I enjoyed my stay very much. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. It's a shame they don't offer healthier breakfast options, and I do wish they had a gym on site. But I found the lobby area and my room to be comfortable, spacious, and clean.

The hotel has updated the area where my suite is. The room is painted, has new carpet , new bar stools and new mattress. It was quiet and clean. We had a wonderful stay.

The breakfast bar was well maintained and the food was good. The serving area and the dining area are spacious. My rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Unfortunately, my room smelled of food from the prior occupant and the water pressure was so high, it was difficult to take a shower. Only the spray pattern was adjustable. I communicated both issues to the front desk.

The good- Clean room & comfortable bed. Kitchenette is solid. Walkable to everything around town. Friendly staff. The bad- Rooms aren’t soundproof from hallway. Television should have been replaced. AC got cumbersome at times. Likely a result of preset automation 🔐🎚️🌡️ The ugly- Experienced a vibe shift in the last 24 hours. Manager began saying my last name and room number out loud on phone whenever I called downstairs. Never did that before. In the morning? Said my room type wasn’t available. Looked at 3rd party sites and it definitely was. Plenty of space left mid August. In conclusion- A no frills spot in the suburbs near Tysons Corner. Quieter hotel compared to others with decent amenities. I encourage all guests to speak out against funny business

If you need to be in McClain, VA this location is perfect, but basic and if you are planning on visiting the sites in D.C. it is far less expensive than city hotels. Takes about 30 minutes to drive into D.C. and then you need to find a parking lot! With a kitchenette in each room, but no oven you can still prepare some meals inhouse. Lots of good restaurants within two blocks. The free daily breakfast is very mediocre and repetitive though convenient.

Best hotel stay in a while

Staybridge McLean is a hidden gem. This was one of our best overnight stays in a minute. We traveled with three teens and a preteen. The two-bedroom suite was spacious enough for us to spread out in peace without having to book two separate rooms. We were very pleased with the service and amenities as well. Outdoor pool, gym, breakfast and free laundry for guests is wonderful. Only thing that could have made it better is free parking but $10 wasn't terrible compared to other nearby hotels. I must give a special shout out the manager, Angel (aka Ms. GG) who was so professional, warm and welcoming. She is part of the reason we decided to request a late check out and a spend a little more time there. We'll definitely be returning.

My home away from home

Loved it, as always. I stay here a five or six times a year. Only complaint is that the heating/air conditioning goes on and off rather noisily. Other than that, my stays are always splendid.
