The staff is amazing! Friendly and welcoming! The nightly campfire is a blast and the food in the quaint restaurant is good. The water comes from mountain springs on property and tastes fantastic. IYKYK. Must do if you're near the west rim of the canyon
Everything great, very clean and unique. The food excellent and the people who attended us very nice, especially Camile, the singer (I don't remember his name) and the cook. Very interesting experience.
Staff were super friendly and Casey made us feel welcome the second we walked through the door. The activities were excellent would highly recommend the sunset horse ride and shooting.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grand Canyon Western Ranch. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. We dined at the restaurant a few times and the food was excellent. We took advantage of the horseback riding and it was a wonderful experience. The ranch is located very close to the western rim of the Grand Canyon. They also offer helicopter rides to the GC. In the evening, Casey Ladams sang and played guitar (and harmonica) at the campfire. He's very talented.
We had an incredible stay at the Grand Canyon Western Ranch. We took full advantage of the activities. Did a sunset horseback ride with a glass of champagne one night, then learnt how to shoot with cowboy Casey. Everything was really authentic. The staff are incredibly friendly. The food in the restaurant is outstanding and not overpriced. They really cater for your needs and it’s so nice to switch off and take full advantage of no Wi-Fi. After dinner you roll on to the open fire and listen to stories of how the ranch started and the history of the area with a couple of country songs. It’s such a magical and special experience for the family. The kids absolutely loved it. Grand Canyon West is a 15 minute drive away and you can spend the whole day there exploring. I would highly recommend staying at this special ranch with so much history. Thank you to Cowboy Dave and Cowboy Casey who made our stay even more special. Thank you.
We stayed for one night in two of the cabins. It was our first experience staying on a ranch and honestly I don’t think it could have been any better. The cabins were spacious and comfortable, and had everything you’d need. The ranch itself was gorgeous, and a superb location. But what really made it incredible was the people working there. Arizona Casey - what a guy! Singing us songs in the restaurant and by the campfire (with complimentary s’mores and hot chocolate!). Teaching us to shoot in the gun range. A wagon ride up the canyon to see the buffalo. It was just magical and I can’t wait to go back.
I would highly recommend the ranch for the most authentic experience imaginable of life in the Wild West: wood cabins, wagon rides, cowboys training horses and country songs around a fire at night. Casey, the resident cowboy, made it particularly special with his singing, entertaining and general engaging manner. Only thing that could be improved is the food, but was traditional cowboy cuisine.
It is hard to describe how amazing this place is - full of character, cool activities, and steeped in interesting history, and within easy reach of Grand Canyon West rim.
What really made it though was Casey the cowboy - he was friendly, funny and entertaining. He sang songs at dinner and at the camp fire and hosted us on the shooting range, gave great recommendations, and offered a range of other activities as well. We loved his music, voice and humour. It truly wouldn't have been the same without him and we are thankful to have had him there while we visited.
We had the best time there - we went with our family, including a 12, 3 and 1 year old and all of us loved it and were sad to leave - we would go again in a heartbeat. We would highly recommend a visit.
We had the best time here. Had a great dinner and after dinner sat around the campfire with the amazing Casey, what a fantastic artist and very funny too.
The area was very silent and you could see the stars all around you at night.
Casey also took us to the gunrange which was a lot of fun.
