Terrible experience, the shuttle drops you off so far away and they don’t tell you the bus stop so you can’t figure out where he dropped you the first time. I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel on the first day because I couldn’t find the bus stop. The bell boys like to scam people into giving them large tips and no one speaks English. The bell boy’s job is to help you with your luggage. However we had a terrible experience where the bell boy helped us and then didn’t let us go to reception to check out but rather said he would take care of it and then said he could call us a taxi, only to call his friend who over charged us and then they spoke in Arabic to each other about how much money to get out of us because they knew we couldn’t understand and basically harassed us to tip him a huge amount even though we told him we don’t have small bills. When The taxi driver dropped us he would not give us our luggage until we paid him and his bell boy friend the large bills we had. I have never felt more unsafe in my life and I think this hotel should watch their employee’s actions because they are scamming and harassing travelers and people who travel the world to come and due umrah. Thanks to this hotel, I will never come here again and will never trust any bell boy again.

The place is actually far better than the photos. The rooms are much more spacious than it appears in the photos. But the best part of it is the receptionist, Ahmad, who was very very kind, often going beyond to help me and my family. Overall, I will say that our stay at Madinah became smooth because of Ahmad at this wonderful place. A huge recommendation!

You get what you pay for so no complaints there. It’s a very basic hotel. The bus takes you close to the Masjid but it is still quite a walk there once you get off.

Our family considered this hotel as a budget hotel that was booked couple weeks ago of our trip and the purpose was to access the shuttle service which was a plus. Hotel is not too far from the haram but due to construction please consider walking at least one mile to access haram or mataaf. The staff crew were always helpful to replenish the toiletries or anything we need such as water, coffee cups, and iron board and an iron. The only thing I would love to see is cleaning/ washing the bathroom when we asked for make my room card. Anyways also laundry was a pain because we had no place to dry our clothes from the spinner. The laundry service is in fifth building where we gave our heavy clothes to wash and dry which was fine. Overall our stay was fine but the hotel could use some more improvement for their guest to provide maximum comfort. Taxis and grocery stores are easily accessible just be cautious of crossing the road. Also, no microwave in the room and iron in the room but you can request an iron for an hour. Again, this is a budget hotel so we were expecting all the things that were mentioned in the other reviews. Overall, this hotel served the purpose of our stay which was ibaada. Shuttle service is a nice touch for sure because they do run them 24/7 sometimes they are fully loaded sometimes they are empty depending on a time of the day you are leaving for haram.
