Misleading Room Images & Information - Terrible!!

On checking in to this hotel I was extremely disappointed. The pictures provided do not reflect the room allocated in any way. The staff in the hotel have agreed that we have been misled when making the booking but refuse to give any refund. I paid a significant amount (£5,000 per night for three nights) to ensure I have Haram view, yet the room allocated is on a lower ground floor and not at all as described. I was left waiting around for hours for the issue to be resolved and the level of unprofessionalism I received is appalling and unacceptable. The issue was never resolved, though the manager agreed to a refund but is now refusing to process it with hotels.com. I would never stay here again and recommend that others do not either!

Not worth what we paid

Paid over £3500 for 3 adults superior room, was given a room for 2 adult with an extra bed. No room to walk round, had to move furniture out. On a spiritual journey to Mecca, no space even to lay prayer mat. Front desk pleaded with housekeeping to put extra bed even though she insisted the room was too small for it. Rooms only cleaned each day if asked several times, drain smell from bathroom, reported to cleaner and thier supervisor, nothing was done. Dissapointed and not worth what we paid!

Not Jumeirah's standard

The lady at the check-in counter insisted on not accepting Hotels confirmation and that we should contact Hotels to provide us with a booking # that starts with 25. Initially she refused to look for our booking by my husband's name, then she said that there is no booking with our name. After some time of waiting, she allocated the booking in their system. Our booking was a deluxe suite. Before booking, we called the hotel and asked about the possibility to be in tower 1. They confirmed that all deluxe suites are in tower 1. However, we were given a suite in tower 3. Another disappointment was the suite is not matching the one displayed online. The living room was supposed to be wide and have 2 sofas. However, it was so small with 1 sofa only. We approached the duty manager, and informed him with all our concerns. He promised to get back to us, but we didn't hear back during the 3 nights stay we were there. This is definitely not Jumeirah's standard.

Absolutely wonderful stay, excellent facilities, very close to Haram Sharif, literally a 5 min walk. Such a comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge, the shower cubicle was humongous. Reception staff very helpful with very good knowledge of English. Would highly recommend for Hajj or Umrah.
