I booked a room with a view and got a construction view, I asked to switch, and they gave me a room which was EXTREMELY noisy at night and at 7 a.m., lots of noise of people screaming. The water it says its free, well, it's not! They made us pay for the complimentary water. I got a massage, which I paid in cash to the massage therapist. At the checkout, they told me that I didn't pay her at all! That made me beyond upset. It's not the matter of $20 it's the principal that they are lying. I asked for a manager and couldn't even get one. The front desk lady wasn't even communicating with me. She kept saying that I had to pay. Getting greedy over 100 milbpesos??? Or it's because we are tourists and think that we have money? We were super nice the entire time, never caused any problems, didn't make noise, didn't even eat their breakfast, why this treatment???? Also, the flip flops in the room are the worst quality, insane that they can't invest in some better stuff after charging so much for a room. We didn't use their kitchen at all, but there was no cutlery in there, no plates. The comforter was sooo heavy. I had to ask for a blanket instead. The pillows are hard and uncomfortable. The gym has the worst treadmills and no weight whatsoever. Oh and not to forget, on the 6th floor was a lot of rain on the entire floor, so to walk to your room you had to get your shoes all wet. just wish I never stayed here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, always attentive. The location is quite good, very central. While the hotel shows its age, it is still well-maintained. I’m not giving it 5 stars because the TV quality was terrible, as if it had a poor signal. In the room we stayed in, 304, the Wi-Fi signal was weak, and on my side of the bed, there was no outlet to plug in my phone. They've made attempts to modernize the hotel, but the cables are visible everywhere, and the electronic equipment could be better.
