Perfect
Nice hotel and great price, my room was away from the road so very quiet, coffee maker, micro, fridge, complimentary breakfast and good TV, staff was very helpful. There is a restaurant with a bar on the property. 7/11 50 yards away. Ashland is a nice safe town. I left happy.

Good stay at the Flagship Inn, mostly
The room was quiet and warmed up quickly when I turned the heater on. The carpet/pad was thick and comfortable, but had several stains. The door was wrenched so that I had to lift on the doorknob to shut the door. The trash can was not emptied before my arrival. There was a wet spot next to the toilet, but it didn’t come back after I cleaned it up.

Not happy that the site changed my date request by one day , 29 back to 28, because my wifi dropped me during booking. and the hotel charged me $80 additional dollars to change it one day. Maybe the site dropped me on purpose to collect extra fees. Rip off alert! It is hard to find at night! Sign is tan and low lit. My phone battery died and I had no map. I was very tired and frustrated. Coffee pot not working. Bed, bathroom clean. Noisy HVAC. Late breakfast service, couldn’t use! I won’t stay again.

I was in town for a family event and stayed two nights. My room appeared clean, except for the old carpet, and everything felt safe. (I was traveling alone.) I liked that I was in walking distance of everywhere I wanted to go in Ashland. It was also quiet. A flooring update would do wonders, though I realize that is a big undertaking. I ate once at the Mexican restaurant that is connected to the inn and the people working there were very friendly and welcoming. This was a good place to stay at a reasonable rate.

The reviews are right. Clean, comfortable, convenient. We needed to check in very late and were in touch a couple of times with the front desk staff. Always pleasant and kind. Always helpful. Breakfast included Golden Malted Waffles. Enough said. Would definitely recommend.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The only negative points were that we 1) found correspondence and room key from previous guests. 2) found a small bug jumping around on the bed. This caused one of our party to question the cleaning persons standards.
